BMW E30 325i | Showcase | 4K Testdrive | Eisenmann race exhaust Sound
Showcasing my new to me 1991 E30 325i coupe.
I've owned this car for 6 months and finally it's registered and on the road. I bought the car as an automatic and swapped it for a manual transmission and three pedals. Besides some maintenance jobs it also got a eisenmann race catback and i emptied the cat. This makes the m20 engine scream at high rpms. I love it!

- Koni shocks
- h&r anti roll bars

How does it work with stage 1? Does it perform 406HP only with full battery? If yes, how much hp does it deliver when the battery is empty? And does the battery recharge when driving in petrol?
@@DaolaMemorino 406 in xtraboost. 300 in sport mode and with empty battery.. yes charging when driving in petrol

The exhaust is a bit more "soft" than what I expected, but God, the car looks absolutely stunning! The intake noise above 4k is delightful! 😍

Did you do any modifications to the sound of the car? Did you code the right exhaust valve/flap to be open at all times? It sounds good!
@@ranzai Hey! Stock exhaust but right side is opened all of the time! Not electrical but i removed the spring and used steel wire to keep it open

im asking myself for long term, does the engine of the 330e and the hybrid engine hold it for hig mileage car? like does stage 1 work without big problems for long term
@@youngbronci2604 i’ve seen some higher mileage cars online.. this is basicly an unlocked 330i engine. I’m not worried about is. Mine has 55k km’s now

Got this done a couple of weeks ago on my B48B20B engine. Managed 413HP on the dyno. Since then have added cobra back exhaust and cobra lowering springs with 12mm spacers.

It’s nice. I was worried about the drone and excessive noise, especially as I was removing the valve and back box, it’s all good. At 70mph cannot hear it. It 40mph there is slight drone. I tend to use electric in towns anyway. Otherwise it sounds sweet

what's the power difference between a and b on stage 1?
I think they can take the a engine to 340hp and 550 nm combined.

@@carsbydre1014 Needed that answer, thanks m8. Did a diesel once with them. Really satisfied with the result. Was your ECU unlocked or did they manage to do the tune fairly easy?
@@Robbonee Hey, Yeah great company. this being a 2019 model the ecu was not locked and easy to tune. They told me after 2020 it is locked and the tune is more expensive
