27:27 It's amazing just how much the lag cleared up when you cleared that bottleneck. I'm guessing the AI got their units stuck, started issuing endless move commands that wouldn't work, and the constant commands must have been killing the framerate.

I'll always enjoy maps that let you gain access to all factions lol. Especially maps that have a bunch of neutral units and structures (I loved how that base next to you was inadvertently protecting you). Also, if you search how to spy on your own base (have an engineer and spy both enter your lab using the waypoint mode) then you can use that to get all the stolen tech units

For me, slave miner is stronger than war miner. But it's also messier than war miner.

Thought this was an island map before I realized it was all gems lol! And yeah I love these more crazy maps. I also enjoy maps with a lot of stuff you can take with engineers (especially bases from each faction). Honestly I wish there was a way to start with all hidden units unlocked so you don't have to infiltrate the research labs. I don't think I've ever even seen a RA2 video using, say, a Chrono Commando (or whatever that unit is called).
