On paper, it basically mashing up ALL the genres shouldn't work, but Dandadan pulls it off (and at a manic pace), while still managing to give the story some breathing room so we get those wonderful little character moments to care about the core cast, and not just the sheer insanity of it all. I'm hooked on the manga (can't wait for Vol 9 to finally release in English in a few days), and was kind of worried that adapting it as an anime wouldn't do it justice, but just from watching Eps 1 and 2, it looks like Science Saru are nailing it. :)

It also reminded me of American Cults that used to be prominent like Heaven's Gate where they thought that if they kill themselves they will go to heaven and all these other places it's like the girls in the music video are obsessed so much they're willing to harm and kill themselves for these groups and then when the groups themselves say they're going to be with you when you fall when your wings break and all that stuff it's like it's egging on the parasocials obsessions that the girls have so they won't to try so hard to have a personal connection with them to the point where they really think they're with them.

Wow, your commentary is better than other reactions I’ve seen, you’re a real LUNÉ! Haha. Especially when you commented on the members. And are you me?? Because SVT is my also my ult (and yes, their Japanese songs are amazing), and the reason why I even got into &TEAM was because they remind me sooo much of SVT 🥲 like the emotional music, the teamwork, and synchronization. Dare I say &TEAM may be the true successors of SVT in those aspects. I honestly love just how much similarities they have, while also doing their own unique thing. Samidare is now one of my favorite songs, it’s like one of those songs that is both sad yet uplifting. Thanks for posting your thoughts.
