I really love the idea of freeing up the spine, freeing up anything, really 😉 Fabric placed on both sides of the spine would allow for a rounded spine that narrows the look of it. That's the best thing you could say about it. Thanks so much Anne. An open spine seems like the way to go, but I worry it's not sturdy enough support for these signatures, and the doiles would be loose or show glue. 🤔😵‍💫

@@JournalBreezeYT I haven't done an open spine with more than 1 signature, and the instability would be a concern with 3 signatures most definately. The spine you have seems quite sturdy, and Heather has a wonderful video on how to extend the spine that looks gorgeous. She added ribbon and lace that would nicely compliment your signatures.

@@annemcdonald5602 I l'll watch Heather's video again, I recall that she used red velvet, so pretty. The current spine would need reinforcement for sure, but this might be the trick. Thank you!!
