Understanding familial patterns 2 || Kay Oyedepo

No Christian is cursed, many don't just know the cause of their predicaments. Familial patterns are usually genetic or habitual in origin. Premature deaths, obesity, diabetes etc are usually more genetics-related than spiritual. Familial alcoholism, procrastination, adultery etc are more habit-related than spiritual. #blessed #truth #christian

You are welcome sir 🙏
There are no scriptures in the Bible that say that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all coequal, coeternal and all are of the same substance and that all three make up one God. Jesus cannot be coeternal with God because according to Psalm 90:2, God is “from everlasting to everlasting”, whereas Jesus is called “the firstborn of all creation” (Colossians 1:15) and “the beginning of the creation by God.” (Revelation 3:12)
John 10:30 NKJV [30] I and My Father are one.” John 1:1-5 NKJV [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. [4] In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 14:10 NKJV [10] Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. John 14:16-18 NKJV [16] And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- [17] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. [18] I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. All these scriptures point to the truth that all 3 are the same God in 3 different persons.
@@Praywithkay When Jesus said “I and the Father are one” in John 10:30, he was talking about the unity of purpose that existed between him and the Father. He did not mean that he was of the same essence or substance with the Father, or that he and the Father were one God, coequal and coeternal. In John 17:22, Jesus prayed to God that his disciples also would be one “just as we are one.” Obviously, the disciples were not one in substance. They were one in purpose. In John 1:1 the Greek noun _theos_ (“god”) appears twice. The first time it is preceded by the definite article _ho_ (“the God”). When the noun has a definite article, it points to a distinct identity, in this case Almighty God. However, the second _theos,_ referring to the Word, does not have the definite article. It is indefinite. _Theos_ without the definite article in this verse points to a characteristic or quality of the Word instead of an identity. The Word is "divine", "a god", “god-like”, but not the same as _ho theos_ (“the God”). Note that John 1:1 also says that "the Word was with God". Someone who is with another person is not the same as that other person. I am not aware of any verse that states that the Father, Son, and Holy spirit are three persons in one God, all coeternal, coequal and consubstantial. The Trinity doctrine was not fully developed until the fourth century after Christ. There are many verses in the Bible that are in conflict with the Trinity doctrine. For example, the night before he was killed, Jesus prayed to his Father and called him "the only true God." (John 17:3) Jesus referred to his Father as "my God'', even after he was resurrected. (John 20:17; Revelation 3:12)
@jollyrancher521 The doctrine of the trinity is seen clearly in scriptures. John 1:1 says that the Son is the Word and the Word is God - The God that created all things. Isaiah 9:6 calls the Son, Mighty God and Everlasting Father. The mystery of God being with God and God being one is why trinity is a mystery. The father is distinct from the son so he can be with him yet the distinctiveness of each of them does not rule out the singleness of substance. Jesus then says the Holy Spirit is Alos Parakletos - Another of the same kind. This refers to their substance and not "purpose" as you suppose.
