I am listening to this on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024. I thoroughly enjoyed Fr. Bonacci’s talk. I just wish I could believe the statement he just made about the majority of people believing in the rights of others. But the results of last week’s election here in the U.S. does not bear that out. We now sit on the brink of a presidency led by a man who is without any recognizable virtue, and who is already choosing like-thinking people who will support him. How do we draw any love for humankind when this man is profoundly supported by people who swear they are not only Christian, but the only “true Christians,” many of whom actually believe this person was sent by God? I am like many others throughout not just the U.S., but the world who are frightened by the likelihood that many human rights gained by people over decades and centuries will be crushed in dark hands. I wanted to believe it was all a passing phase, but the election results point to the death of virtue at the very core of our government, supported by millions of those who say they are followers of Christ. God help us.
good job
The words for likeness indicate we, as the rest of the universe, reflect divine qualities. Interfaith may be an admitted part of the UN, EU, and WEF, but each can approach it to dispel misunderstandings about their own faiths and to show that they can get alone beyond fascist control or softening one's identifying a path as more good and true than others. There is certainly hope for the living to stop the bad and start something better.
Humanity is upon the best of consciousness and action, till they choose otherwise in life. It is true that more Americans believe in the astrology and reincarnation than Christian teachings. The pursuit of freedom and experience is certainly a way to define the purposes of life, but I fail to see how picturing a guru and praying to them is not dedicating that as worship to the alleged God-Man.
Interfaith!super shots,till next time. 😌
A lot of important, interesting information.
Nicely done!
Great Work
Please share them all!
It was an honor to be asked to come back Big Questions at Rossmoor. Always the most insightful questions!
Excellent speech, watched it all. As expected you have taught us deep Hindu belief system, including from Upanishads. Good you started with your bottomline answer to the asked question, so we are clear where you are going. The stories always help. You are calm and a man with great wisdom. We are proud of you, Gaurav. Thank you for enlightening us!
🙏
God says we must tell the truth. Walnut Creek CA. is a systemically racist city. From the racist Contra Costa County fire department to the racist Walnut Creek police department these are two large well funded hate groups. The racist CCCFD will frame innocent people of color by starting fires and setting up minorities, the racist WCPD will lie on and harass Blacks, Hispanics, Filipinos, Indians, and Pakistanis. Racism is a sin. They must repent believe in God and be saved. God is Love.
@user-ty4fx5de6m 34 seconds ago How do wolves get along with sheep in the wilderness? War has always been around as long as life has been around. Even creatures as small as ants will war with each other’s colonies. This idea of peace on earth is a naive objective, a mother’s fantasy, far detached from the reality of the history of mankind and our current existence. The best way to have peace is similar to a garden and a gardener. The gardener has a true vine which branches out into numerous which ways. Occasionally the gardener will have to tear off the dying branches, not water them, the gardener will have to root up thorns and kill vermin and pests who steal sprouting fruits the gardener’s crops produce.
Your video is very nice!!! Employ a company like P R O M O S M!

Plastic bags are the biggest threat to our planet. If we as a species don't stop manufacturing plastic bags , won't be long before we start choking on them.
How can I get started with a mine right beside a residential area I keep asking civilians what they are doing no one knows. Who's "She" ???
How is peace possible? If America would give up their "foreign policy" most wars wouldn't have started. America is the source of so many wars, not only the ones they have faught themselves. Look at Ukraine. The beginning is always in America.
Outlawing initiatory violence. But then who will collect the church taxes? Priorities, priorities...
Deb Haaland will be there for us.
I hope she starts to show up, because my friends were protesting at her office as well as the White House, who must have constricted what she'd like to do.
Dr Erica I'm glad to hear. It's so amazingly worth listening to you. More power to you. Blessings!!
This is so deep, amazing and so beautifully explained. Mind blowing. 🥰🙏🙏
I have been part of Interfaith of Interfaith Council of Contra Costa County for almost two decades. Dr. Erica Bains is the current president of the Interfaith Council. Rev. Will McGarvey is the executive Director of the council. I want to thank him for bringing this talk of Dr, Bains to the group. Dr Bains has done a great job in answering the Big question based on Gurbani.and preachings from Sikh Gurus and Saints about what is the meaning of life. She is able to explain beautifully on how to live life without getting intoxicated with materialistic riches which are meaningless and will not go with us when we die. The various stages of life and its journey are described beautifully and how to get liberated. We do need to promote this message of love, compassion, treating everyone with respect and dignity, hard work, sharing your earnings with others in a need, and staying in the will of the God. .
My dear sister Kashmir so nice to see you talk about our religion Sikhism true religion of baba Nanak ji god bless everyone on this planet 🌎 love you lots my dear sister
The work you are doing is very courageous in itself. Our communities may find healing in learning how to express and listen to each other.

Thank you Revs Will and Julius for the great job on theis Juneteenth event. I learned a lot and appreciate all of the effort to have people from our community speak to us on the need to recognise the truth of racism and our rough past history that continues today.....thank you for helping us to change this going forward.
Thank you for sharing this learning tool for your white brothers and sisters. I am learning a lot on this Juneteenth.
Thanks so much for the discussion. Being part of the interfaith movement has been such a blessing, and has fueled my growth growth, and has enabled me to reflect the love and gratitude shared by each of our respective faiths to our neighbors at large.
Very helpful and insightful, chaplain Margaret!
Great message! Covid-19 teaches us a lot. It is a reminder to unite us all and work together.
