Thrilling Humpback Whale experience
What a way to start 2016 with an up close and personal experience with two curious humpback whales.

I think the whale was showing you the barnacles on purpose. Looks like he/she needs a good scrub with a brush.
Remarkable footage, i'm really impressed!
Bátrak vagytok ! Nem vettetek fel úszómellényt, és , ha vízbe estek ? ⛵🌍🌎🌏❄️❄️
People think they are going to pull a Moby Dick on them, They are so much in control, if they do touch the boat, it will be barely, Have dove with these guys and they are so friendly and will be careful not to hit you with a fin and will move very slow
Freaking out for what? They won't attach us hoomans okay. Research before going out.
It was to nice to see how interested the dog was in the whales.
The dog looks so scared but excited!!
SO COOL

As your checking her out she's checking you out. 🇨🇦🕊🥰
very cool video thanks youtube for the recommendation
They have great awareness of their body size, if they didn't it would be unsafe to be so close, give them some credit they are much more intelligent than you think.
The dog was saying “ I’m not barking at that thing, it outweighs me by a few pounds”.
Haha the dog 🤣👍
You’d think they would be clumsy, but nope! I love the dog’s reaction; as if to say “WTF?” 😂
MARAVILLOSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
What no screaming or splashing....VERY nice ..not al people are idiots.
I wonder how bad I'd panic, or if I could remain 😎 like this guy!
Where was this? @kyle noble.
Can't believe people still hunt theses babies😓
Wonder what is running through that dogs mind !
WOW!!!
I just wanna clean that whale ... Fking barnacles
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🌅
Awesome!
It's such a privilege when a huge creature like that chooses to come and interact with us. I have experienced this three times now and it never fails to move me to tears. WONDERFUL!
They might have came to ask you to remove barnacles from their bodies.😁😁
Absolutely amazing wow!
What a great experience!
WOW 🐳. So Awesome
Magnificent creatures of the ocean. Breathtaking stuff!
Where was this?
Joanne Cottam probably alaska.
No thrilling lol. They are so gentle and intelligent, they don't even touch the boat. Seen them many times in Iceland.
Kermit the frog is talking , dog is watching , beautiful whales are diggin it 💕
The dog is like what in world are those giant things
Whales.... they are so big! But so gentle... they are truly amazing creatures.
Thanks..damnit son
There should be some whale information going out to boat owners in these parts of the world. For example.... No need to be afraid. It is extremely rare that a whale even touches a boat. They are big but they have total control of every inch of their body. They know exactly where they have themselves. A humpback whale can come up a centimetre from a boat, knowing full well how close it is. People in boats, who do not know better, might get scared and turn on the prop and thus startling the whale etc. Secondly, it would be good if people knew when it's alright to approach the whales and when not. Stuff like that which would make it easier in the contact with these incredible and beautiful beings of the depths.
I've seen a video of a humpback taking out a kayak, it can definitely happen
@@kamalmanzukie Yes, of course it can. It can so happen that one gets a punch in the face while walking down the street too. Or one might get rammed by a car while out driving. The world is not a bullet proof place. Anything can happen. And especially when we enter the domain of other species. We are always very black or white in how we view and judge other species behaviour. Whales and dolphins are intelligent but also very emotional beings, just as we are. Occasionally we will come across one who is in a bad mood that day. The way we have treated them, and their realm, I am surprised that they simply just don't kill every human that jumps in the water. But they don't. In fact they never do that.
@@cyprescrow Agreed! And I've seen a number of people in boats seem to understand the whales are being gentle and are completely in control of every inch of their body and know exactly how much space they're taking up but definitely get confused about why they may sometimes rub up against the boat. It seems like they're knowledgeable only up to a certain point. We definitely don't want people starting engines while our friends are just rubbing off barnacles. And what a privilege it would be to be in that boat! Sure, it may be startling and even scary but they're just using our boat to serve an important need and that should be seen as a wildly amazing privilege!
water looks so weird
wow. just wow.
cute dog
Why can't people just shut the hell up and enjoy the moment? No commentary is necessary, just shut up and enjoy it.
He was like a little girl , OMG !Is he going to touch the boat ! You better start the boat ! Shut the hell up !!!! This could have been a great video !
Jon Lee , I watch a lot of whale videos and they were actually quieter than most.
The dog looked a bit concerned.
Your dog is super smart and patient like a person. So cute. That must have been an amazing experience for him.
GOD, CANADA IS SO BEAUTIFUL I AM PROUD TO BE CANADIAN..I LOVE TO GO THERE, ITS ON MY LIST:))
that is so amazing...I could only dream of ever having such a similar experience wow
Simply beautiful
I wonder......do barnacles hurt sea animals? I mean is it painful to them?
calista lane it’s more annoying then anything, and itchy.
