Well i just paused my phd because of cost of living in uk. I think there is a bit of a flaw here, we need a survivor type, eg someone like me who is just getting by. How can one be a shopper ir saver if there isnt any spare income?!
I understand! Hopefully you can keep working on your PhD
😃 *promo sm*
I had a great time at this conference. I learned a great deal from the interdisciplinary presenters. There is value in learning from research in disciplines other than your own.
Thanks Thor, it was a terrific conference!
Thanks you very much
Thanks for uploading this! 🤩
You're welcome Louise
Thank you
You're welcome
Extremely helpful, indeed!
How to buy nvivo software?
Nvivo is available in SCU student labs on all campuses (Coffs Harbour, Lismore and Gold Coast)
It was a great workshop which gave light on the screening of papers for the lit. review.
I enjoyed the logical progression of NVivo usage instruction as it was initially unfolded here by the presenter, until the linear flow was completely diverted by the interjecting questions. Very hard to follow and build on steps demonstrated after that. Although each question was useful in itself the workshop lecturer was forced to then respond to the idiosyncrasies and stages of each questioners project and progress, to jump out of the skill sequence he was modelling. When questions are prematurely admitted - unless they directly relate to the steps being demonstrated - you then have a demand driven discussion where each individual wants to immediately extract what is useful to them. I understand the drive to have the speaker address direct queries but feel that any group is best served by first hearing the speakers prepared overview before a question period starts. Would love to see an uninterrupted presentation by this speaker.
Hey, keep at the work. From what you said, I think you will be interested this channel 👉 #drjohnaking. I find him instructional and practical.
Great work
Thank you! Cheers!
Well done
Fascinating
Well done
Great!
Great workshop the whole process of lite review is clear now.....about importing....I simply select the file, and drag it to the data folder and name, articles, references, or whatever you like....it is simple than importing the whole chunk of Endnote, Mendeley and then saving it as' ris' ...etc... and then importing....thanks for great work.
Thanks for sharing!
really interesting, more helpful, thanks
This was very helpful, thank you for sharing.
This seminar is so useful as it provides concrete examples and advice right from the presenter's thesis.
Thank you Thuy, I will pass your comment on to the presenter
@@scupostgrads Yes, please do. Not just this presenter, but many others from your channel are great too. I haven't explored all the videos, but I enjoy and benefit from watching the research-related seminars from your channel (like the Statistics and the Literature Review videos). It feels like they tap into what I practically need to survive with my data collection. I am really thankful for this.
I wish I could attend the webinar with Robert.... But, if you could share the website here, I can still learn about NVIVO further and might be able to communicate with Robert, too...
well done and i see your videos regularly since I last saw one of your sessions. i have a question that what do you use for the online sessions I mean zoom cloud meeting, google meet, or streamyard or what? may I know the name of this online meeting app???
It is zoom.
Greatly thank you for this video. I really appreciate this!
Love your work guys. Great presentation.
Great info. Thanks for sharing.
