Middletown Tractor Sales Story of Your Land
If available in your area, use non-ethanol gas. 10% more power, better starting and less storage problems. Some of the local Marathon's have Rec 90 mid grade in a separate pump, or Recreational fuel, 90 octane & o% alcohol. It's about $1 more gallon but worth it for "Off Road Power Equipment".
I got one of these things
Complete failure under 50 hours
Just bought one hope it lasts
How do you like it?
@@johncooper2790 So far so good been mowimg for a few weeks now
Well… when you say it like that
Ventrac is thd BEST! Liked, Subscribed, Commented and Shared!
2032R set RPM TO WHAT
Was that handbrake fully on?
Question: Does the JD 5075E need DEF additive?
silly commercial
I also did not know you could hold the PTO button to mow in reverse. Great Tips!!!
I did not know there was a factory adapter preinstalled for work lights. 😮🎉 Made me want to go outside & check!!! 😂 I’ll have to check that out this afternoon.
6:04 I’m often surprised how salespeople who do not actually own and operate a 1025R do not correctly explain the joystick control functions. The standard joystick, not the optional 3rd function, does six things, not four as explained in this video. I’ll focus on the two missed things. What was explained as “down” becomes what John Deere calls float mode, technically a release of pressure, once you move the joystick past down. You will feel a clear change through your hand as you go from down to float. Let’s say you have a front mounted snow blower and you are blowing snow on a surface with an elevation change. Float will allow the blower to rise and fall to match the contours of the surface. The second missed item is called regeneration, which is also a release of pressure, but it’s for the other movement. To activate regeneration mode, move the joystick all the way to the right. I’ve heard some people call this fast dump mode because you can dump your bucket faster in this mode. Some people who only have a front end loader do not realize they activated this mode because a right movement on the joystick also causes a bucket to dump, just not as fast. However, using the front snow blower example, a right movement of the joystick will cause the blower snow chute to rotate to the right, where a full joystick movement all the way to the right will cause your chute to stop, or perhaps rotate back to the left. I mention this because it seems all experienced operators know these things yet salespeople never mention them, causing new owner confusion.
Next time feel free to actually add some information about the topic that is harder to figure out. Does speed effect? How? How far apart are the teeth etc. we can get “John Deere is the best” speeches all day anywhere. I went antique case because JD was waiting over a month for a new chair.
This man makes me want to head to the bank and buy one right now! great information. Thanks!
1023E..
I own one and never knew about the red disk , thanks for teaching me that !
I would probably go to a store where the salesmen speak and explain things.
Good job, love my 1025R!!
Why y'all don't show the s100 anymore?
what it the height of the ROPS when its all the way up?
With the ROPS up, the height is perfectly engineered such that if you forget to lower the ROPS as you drive your tractor into your garage, you will do maximum damage to a standard seven foot garage door. So yes Marvin, I can afford one, I do one one, and own a resort in North East Wisconsin where I use it. Any more questions about me, please try Google. 👍
@@DougAlesUSA If you "forget" it's called operator error! And if you can't afford one just say it.
@@marvinjackson2641 I am a John Deere 1025R owner and share plenty of photos and comments about my tractor, attachments, accessories, and projects to the Facebook groups named “1025R Nation” and “1023e & 1025r chat & discussion” where I use my real name, the same real name I am using here on UA-cam. Also, my detached home workshop has three overheard doors, one at 10 feet, two at 12 feet. I am sharing data based on experience because many people have a seven foot high standard garage door. The height of the modern, forwarding leaning ROPS on the John Deere 1025R is slightly over seven feet, just enough so it can not clear a standard seven foot garage door. By the way, the Mauser cab option removes the ROPS and lower ROPS fishbone frame, replacing both ROPS components with the cab structure which does clear a standard seven food garage door, just barely.
i want to buy this trailer do you sell this trailer?
thanks for the video. what size bucket is on that tractor?
Won’t start
How much?

Thank you for this most excellent video. It's well done, and you spoke in layman's terms that I could easily understand. Yesterday, while I was doing roadwork with my 2016 FT4 5075E, a light came on showing the exhaust temp was high. I thought it meant that I was going to have to get the dealer to do a regen. I came home from work with a sick feeling in my stomach. After doing a search on youtube for a 5075E Regeneration, I found your video. After watching your video, I realized that the tractor was simply letting me know that the automatic filter cleaning was in progress. What a relief! Today. I put another ten hours on the tractor. It worked great, and I had no problems and no warning lights lit up on the dash. Thank you again!
We're glad to hear that Jim! It's definitely a common confusion for those models, and the warning lights often scare folks into thinking something is wrong, so we're happy this helped you!
Nicely done sir! I just purchase a 1025R and you made it easy to identify each of the controls, keep it coming! Thank you, James

Does the s130 have 2 black pulley guards on deck or just 1 .
I purchased one and it only has one guard
@@ricklavoie3703 the video,is not accurate, it only comes with one, as mine did
@@daleknox1969 yes that is correct , I actually opened a case with John Deere in regards to that S130 , 100,110,120,140,160,170,180 all have 2 covers . They are claiming that s130 is brand new 42” designed deck and it is not the same as the 100,110,120, 42” deck due to the fact that the s130 is the only 42” with the pto vs the manual blade activation
@@ricklavoie3703 thanks for the info Rick, so If I was to buy a spindle cover{discharge side} for the s120{ which is also a 42in deck}, it would, not fit on my S130?, I’m thinking that it won’t, I ask this question to Brent from Western Equipment and he has yet to get back to me
@@daleknox1969 exactly it will not fit , John Deere is claiming that the pto is in a different area than the area of the 120 pulley , what they did do is give me a case number during the investigation of why the s130 is the only model with 1 cover , by having that case number John Deere stated they would cover any damage done to my tractor due to the fact there is no cover , if any accident would occur
I thought the S130 was supposed to have wider rear tires, but they look the same as the S120 in this video
I agree. Looking pretty skinny here, but specs say 10” wide apposed to 8” wide for the S120.
I have a s130 and the tires in real life are way bigger than what shows on this video
Is this in CA?
Great video and testimony. I just brought a Ventrac last week. I got the 4500Z and a Tough Cut, Power Rake and a Power Bucket and grapple. Please share more videos with us. Thanks!
