I am not on any social media except instagram to watch my cousin and her daughter. They live far away. I rarely post anything besides the northern lights or some stunning scene in nature. Just don’t feel I need to display my life to the world.

Our biggest hurdle is kids. A lot of the time we once had is now invested in kids. Part of the natural cycle, but it doesn’t make it easy.

It’s not easy but I’ve learned that we have to be very purposeful about making each other a priority. Your kids also need to see that make each other a priority. It will set a foundation and expectation for them in their relationship.

It’s all about pushing yourself. Hard to believe I’ll be 59 in May! Life is about growing and becoming. Growing physically, emotionally, and spiritually are the true goals of life. It’s easy to focus on the past and the “poor” decisions you made but as my son Devon Michael Sedrick told me once “I have no regrets because those experiences brought me to where I am today.” Embrace all of where you are and move forward to who you want to become!

It isn’t just a marriage that happens. Or a romantic relationship. Even in a family bond. Or a pet-owner bond. Definitely in an employment and a friendship. Definitely.

This need to be more deeply contextualized. What causes her to feel not secure and why? Is it a flawed expectation on her part? Experiences from her past (relationships, family disorder/diagreements in her childhood etc.) that may have caused her to have those feeling of you not providing the security she needs? This sounds deep rooted and needs to be fleshed out so you can understand what she may have experienced/is experiencing and how you can help her to be more secure in herself so that you yourself in the end would be just adding to what she already would have.

I ask my husband to #1 never disagree around family. #2 if I'm saying something that sounds off to correct me quickly in private so I can fix it, rather than correct me infront of everyone. #3 if anyone ever disrespect's me in his presence I shouldn't have to say anything and he'll handle it. These three actions keep me feeling secure in his company.

It's hard to say without more details or concrete examples BUT, assuming that her point is legitimate and you being a thug is not what she means, maybe she means that she would like you to proactively intervene (talk) in her favour when a disagreement or some kind of friction arises with someone else. It does happen that some people, specially males, may miss out on a subtle pun, on tension between women, or female acts and body expression towards other women that signify rivalry, low key bullying, veiled mean comments... Maybe she's put in that kind of situation and you dont realise so you you dont come up in front of others to say to her eg. Actually i think that looks great on you (if her cousin kinda mocked her outfit), or 'baby, ur casserole was amazing' when different people bring dishes to a gathering... If this is what she means its about attention and being actively (not agressively) in her team. I hope this helps or gets you closer to your solution.

Actually if you think I might have been onto something there best show her the response and ask her, and talk about it frankly. Because you might have a hard time realising when you r needed in this way and you two might wanna develop your own 'accomplice language' or signs or looks so you can sync

End up in prison or jail. If she hasn't been physically hurt and you are always on her side what more can you do besides physically putting your hands on somebody. If you don't make her feel secure why would she marry you. I think something else is going on here

three years ago my wife abandoned me and the kids and left to Texas with her boyfriend the youngest was my daughter who really needed a mom around and she was only six and a half the oldest had her first. about six months later and she was 11, and then there was a ten-year-old boy and an eight-year-old boy in the middle of the mix... they're doing amazing now though

Sincerely, Brenda is a bad movie from a bad writer. Mostly, I feel bad for the actors that had to read these terribly cliche lines. I feel that I have been robbed of this hour and a half of my life. Let this be a warning to all: Sincerely, Brenda is sincerely awful.

The reason is that humans are built to talk with a purpose. When you first meet a person you're romantically interested in, you want that person to be interested in you.We know instinctively know that romantic interest starts with physical/sexual attraction. We say (and rightfully so) the things that trigger attraction.A woman will generally date a man she finds attractive...whether he loves/understands her is not relevant at that point.Understanding a person's love language becomes important when you're already in the relationship and most people do not even know their love languages...they figure it out by trial and elimination.
