Your Video saved me alot of work and probably some damage on my device by trying open it. I own a "comfee MPPH-09CRN7" (Midea) and it looks pretty the same (except from some screws) as yours. Had some leakage behind the panel (what dripped down the coils aside the evaporator) and the condenser was built up with dirt and animal hairs. Thanks alot for your upload! : ))))))

Hello, thanks for the instructions, they will be useful. I have a Comfee Mobile Air Conditioner Smartcool 7000 Pro, but I plan not only to vacuum it, but also to blow compressed air from the compressor from the inside out. If possible, I might also wash the radiators with a pressure washer.

My gf has this unit and it seems to put out a lot of water (humid here in Vancouver), is normal cooling mode supposed to have both drain plugs on the unit? Does water accumulate in the unit if you have both plugs sealed and then you have to drain it every now and then? The manual isn't clear on this. Thanks

Thanks for the overview. Remember to keep track of where the screws go, they are not all the same type. Also it’s best to use a hand screw driver for anything plastic. Just snug. Strip the threads and you will have a loose rattling cover.

Mine just randomly turned off and the plug looks almost like yours except only one of the parts that goes into the wall socket was black. I was using an extension chord so now I need to buy a new chord and a power bar

My dog just ate the cord so now I have to replace mine.

Sorry one more queation. Does the cord have to be the brand for my Machine? Or just as long as I have the numbers correct and the letters?

i bought this model 3years ago and the guy at the store said that i didnt need to drain it because this model evaporates the water.. I would let it run all night and all day almost. 1st year never had to drain it a single time.. 2nd year i woke up a few times with a puddle in the room because for 500$ the machine isnt smart enough to stop when its full apparently.. Last year i started draining it straight into a bucket and empty it every few hours because its making so much water.. I feel like theres something wrong with it.. But im thinking about raising it and putting the middle drain tube through my plexiglass window so it drains outside constantly.. Its cooling down half a 4 1/2 appartment .. Would cleaning it like you do in the video change the ammount of water it makes? Because ill try that.

Do not plug an air conditioner into a PowerBar, always plug ANY large appliance directly into a standard outlet or into a single end heavy-duty appliance extension cord. Licensed Electrician.
