    For me, it was that the little silicon comb filter that is on the right hand side when the cover is opened. The water gets skimmed off the roller by the comb filter (the long thing with the holes in it and the three arrows) with the water going through the holes and out through the side of the machine after going through the silicon filter. If you take out the filter you will see it has a holes in one end. When the filter is placed in, make sure that it is seated in the hole correctly. That is, place it in and push it across to the right to make sure it seats against the hole in the side of the machine.

The long steelmesh part with a black rubber lip and arrows to show you the insertion direction! Water gets sucked from there into the drain basked! That black rubber lip has a gap to suck water away from the roller. And that gap needs to be cleaned... Its difficult to see & rinsing doesn't work here! I'd make a pic but how to send it to you?

    • @hsiensational68
      @hsiensational68 2 роки тому

      I think the issue is the sponge roller. It must be completely soaked through - no more hard spots anywhere in the sponge. Once the sponge is completely soaked through, you have to roll out some of the excess water by just using your hands to roll the sponge roller on the floor evenly - but do not squeeze out all the water completely. This removes the excess water and provides an even seal when re-installed into the Hizero so that the pump in the Hizero is able to work properly. I hope this is clear. Please try and let me know how you get on. Mine seems to work well when I follow these steps.

      @@hsiensational68 it worked! Thanks so much! Ur a legend. I also had a problem where the water would leak on the side and leave a line of leaking water but that seemed to of gone away too!

    • @hsiensational68
      @hsiensational68 2 роки тому

      @lovher Super!! I think the water leaking from the side is also due to the sponge roller either being under-soaked, or over-soaked. The clean water being pumped to the sponge roller is either not properly absorbed due to hard spots and overflows, or the hard spots create an uneven seal with the suction pump for waste water, and the result is water leaks out the side and no dirty water is collected in the waste water receptacle. The other possible reason is that the sponge roller is over-saturated and water is just squeezed out the sides of the sponge when the sponge is rolled and compressed. So thoroughly soaking the sponge, and then rolling out the excess water on the floor with your hands evenly to expell the excess water uniformly from the sponge, then installing the sponge roller into the machine should resolve this. I'm glad I was able to help. This was a very frustrating problem when I spent so much money on the Hizero and it didn't work as it was supposed to, and no one on the internet or at Hizero could solve it or fully understand the problem 😕

    how to fix?

  • @eldercrow3510
    @eldercrow3510 2 роки тому

    This is perfectly fine. The only times you get problems with a freehub is when the splines have worn out and/or the lockring isn't tight enough (Gear's will skip/creak because of the horizontal movement) If you just bought a new wheel and it does this, it's normal. The chain is able to match the slight change in angle and derailleurs even have some play from the bolt to the cage. There's a certain amount of tolerance by design. You should have no problem's shifting with it like this.

    • @hsiensational68
      @hsiensational68 2 роки тому

      Elder Crow Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, no matter how I micro-adjusted my Ultegra Di2 rear derailleur, the chain on this cassette would still skip and become noisy in certain cogs. This does not happen with my Ultegra cassette, or on another Ultegra cassette on my Wahoo smart trainer. So I think the imperfections are beyond what is tolerable on my system.

    • @hsiensational68
      @hsiensational68 3 роки тому

      I seem to have resolved the issue myself. Basically I think this happens because the sponge roller is either insufficiently soaked, or over-soaked. If insufficiently soaked before use, not all the water being pumped onto the sponge roller is absorbed and the excess water rolls off the sponge roller into the green solid waste tray and collects there or runs off onto the floor. If the sponge roller is over-soaked, this can also cause problems as it cannot absorb any more water and the excess water is again collected in the green solid waste collection tray. So what I do now is to make sure the sponge roller is totally and properly soaked through (no hard spots in the sponge roller), then use my hands to squeeze out extra water from the sponge roller. Then after installing it into the Hizero, I just start rolling the Hizero on my floor quickly and roughly at first to get the system running (water flowing through all the tubes and getting sucked into the waste water receptacle). After about 1 min, it seems to work normally and water gets sucked into the waste water receptacle and the floor is relatively dry. I do not start with the cleaning mode any more. I only end my cleaning with running the cleaning mode. Hope this helps and works for you too. 🙏😊

    Hi, i have the same problem. Did you find any solution? Thanks

    • @hsiensational68
      @hsiensational68 3 роки тому

      Hi, Kind of... Last weekend, as usual I had to run it a few times before the dirty water tank started collecting water. Damn! But I have a theory that the cleaning roller is either not totally absorbent yet and water is rolling off the roller and running off onto the solid waste tray. Or the roller is too wet or unevenly wet, causing the excess water to collect in the solid waste tray. So after 2 unsuccessful rounds of doing what I usually do, I tried rolling the Hizero quite vigorously and quickly back and forth across the floor in an attempt to make the sponge roller become evenly moist from the rolling action and the weight of the machine. This seemed to do the trick!!! I will have to try this again this weekend to see if it solves the problem. Maybe you can try this too and let me know how it goes...

I like my Giordana's too, but the elastic and padding degraded more quickly than with my Rapha's. Do you know why there is both a "SPEXCEL High-quality cycling Jersey Store" and a "SPEXCEL Official Store" on aliexpress? Hi, yes, i also noticed the 2 Spexcel stores on Aliexpress. I think the "High-quality" store is not the official store because they sell knock-off branded stuff. I have purchased from them before too and the quality is decent. However, the leg length is too short for my liking. Can u clarify about the bibs with longer legs? Do they advertise that the legs are longer? Or do the pictures just look like they are longer? Sometimes the pictures are just "stolen" off the genuine branded website and the actual item is not the same when it comes to the details like leg length...

I have not bought them but from what I see on Aliexpress, and from the pictures posted by people who have bought them, they look pretty good too. Of course each brand makes jerseys of different designs and quality levels too. From what I can see, the Spexcel jersey I reviewed at the end of my video still has an edge over the ykywbike jerseys. The ykywbike jerseys have an elasticised-hem band at the bottom front of the jerseys and this is less refined than the Spexcel one I reviewed at the end of the video which has a fused hem band (no stitching), which results in a classier, more modern finish. The wide elasticised band with silicone on the lower back band of the Spexcel jersey is also the style used on high end European-made jerseys like Pas Normal etc. (this is absent in the ykywbike jerseys). However, for the price, the ykywbike jerseys represent very good value and quality for the money as well.

      My friend gifted me a YWYK jersey in brown/bronze. I wore it on a ride today. Good quality lycra/spandex on the front and back, longer sleeves in breatheable mesh fabric, and close, racefit cut. The collar was just right - not too loose like some other less refined jerseys. Small zippered pocket was included in the design. Overall very good but still lacked the refinements of the Spexcel jersey model I reviewed in this video. What refinements were lacking?: No zipper pocket to prevent chaffing of the neck. No flap of fabric (not full length, not even partial) to prevent chaffing of the zipper against the torso. No fused hems, (traditional stitching used throughout). Rear pockets were too high on the back making access difficult - you have to be quite the contortionist to bend your arms mid-ride to access stuff or put stuff (e.g. sunglasses) into your rear pockets because of this design flaw. The finishing of the bottom hem of the jersey is also of a less refined. The YWYK jersey uses a common silicone patterned strip material (still quite nice), while the Spexcel jersey uses a more refined wide band of silicone-studded material.

      Hi, @Veteran, not sure if i understand you correctly but in case you didn't realise, the thread directions of the pedals are different between the Left and Right pedals. You could be tightening instead of loosening the pedals if you didn't realise this. See www.condorcycles.com/blogs/journal/how-to-remove-pedals for more detailed instructions depending on whether you use a wrench or allen keys to remove the pedals. I hope this helps... Good luck.

    • @hsiensational68
      @hsiensational68 4 роки тому

      Hi! Thanks for viewing the video. The strap is actually a simple velcro strap that's meant to strap around the lower part of your trousers when you cycle to prevent it from flapping around and getting caught in the front chainwheel. I got the strap in a Daiso store but you coukd easily improvise something similar with a strip of velcro...

      @@leslietay7656 Yes, the Feeback Sports repair stand i have is very good. It is stable, easily clamps the seatpost into the jaws and adjusting the angle of work and height is simple and quick. The repair stand is also easy to store as it folds down in a very compact manner. It is a bit heavy though but I guess it is made with good materials and is a high quality repair stand. There is a lightweight model too. There is also a pro model which requires the front wheel to be removed. It is a bit pricey but it is very good quality.

    • @hsiensational68
      @hsiensational68 4 роки тому

      Hi #depiep Thanks for watching the video. Canyon actually makes it easy to install the wireless unit because they put a Shimano Di2 connecting junction (JC200) along the Di2 cable under the handlebar stem. This makes it convenient for me to swap out the connecting junction with the wireless unit without needing to do any re-wiring or unwrapping of handlebar tape. I just replace the connecting junction with the wireless unit and the wireless unit becomes part of the Di2 system 👍 If your bike doesn't have a connecting junction (JC200), then you need to either find another place to plug in the wireless unit, or follow Shane Miller's method which is in the description section of this video. All the best!

      Hi Hsien Wei Tan, thank you for your reply. I will receive my new bike at the end of June, so I hope it has the junction which would make it easy for me. After you connected the EW-WU111, did you have any problems with the DI2 system?? I have read that there are many people who had problems and had to disconnect the battery to solve the problems. This worries me a bit because I believe it is pretty hard to disconnect the battery in the Ultimate. Please let me know how the installation worked out for you! Many thanks!

      @@depiep Wow, i bet you can't wait to receive your new bike! I did not have to disconnect the battery. I just unplugged the JC200 connecting junction and replaced it with the wireless unit and it worked just fine! You are right that accessing the battery in the Ultimate is difficult - it's located in the downtube and in order to access it, you have to remove the crank. So luckily I didn't have to to this. Yes, some people may have this problem - Shane Miller had this issue in his video. I'm just so glad the installation for me was smooth and the Di2 wireless system works so well with my Garmin Edge 520. I hope you get your bike sooner! 👍😃

    Thanks for the unboxing. How's the paint and finish holding up about a year later in that Stage Race Blue? Hi @Justin Jewell, thanks for checking my video out. The paint is holding up very well. I had a matt black Canyon Ultimate CF SLX with rim brakes before this so i know what you mean :-). The paint is a little matt too (not glossy), altho blue. And it has a certain metallic quality to it too... if u can imagine that. So it's quite unique. Hey, if u have Enves already, u can just buy the Ultimate CF SL Disc 8.0 Di2 (non-aero version) which is cheaper and does not come with the more expensive deep section wheels. Hi, I ordered the same bike last week. Unfortunately the delivery time is 4 months ☹️. I have 2 questions I can't find on the Canyon website. Where do they hide the battery for the Di2 system? And would it be possible to move the front derailleur a few millimetres downwards in case I want to mount a 50/34 chain ring i.o. the standard 52/36?

    • @hsiensational68
      @hsiensational68 4 роки тому

      Hi Ben, thanks for posting your question and congratulations on your purchase! Pity you've got such a long wait :-(... The battery for the Di2 system is housed in the lower part down tube near to the bottom bracket. On the underside of the downtube, you will see 2 philips-head screws which secures the bracket which holds the battery inside the downtube. Search on Google for the exploded diagram for this frame on the internet. Yes, you can adjust the front derailleur down the few millimetres downwards by moving the screw which secures the derailleur to the bracket on the frame if you change to a 50/34 chainring. Simple job. All the best! The anticipation is torture!!!!

    • @hsiensational68
      @hsiensational68 4 роки тому

      @@bubbachua I was thinking about this and yes, although you could hide the wireless unit inside the handlebar by connecting it to the bar-end Di2 junction box, but in order to do this, you would probably need an additional short length of Di2 wire to connect it up. If your bike already comes with a EW-JC200 2-way junction located along the exposed Di2 wiring under the handlebar and stem, then this would be the easiest solution for installing the wireless unit. It is only a very simple task of replacing the EW-JC200 junction with the wireless unit (plug out the EW-JC200 and plug in the wireless unit) since they are almost the same shape and size (the wireless unit is marginally bigger). You can do this yourself and it doesn't involve unwrapping your handlebar tape or any extra wires. Of course, if your bike does not have the EW-JC200 junction, then your best bet would be to install it in the handebar near the bar-end junction box. But remember, you will need a short length of Di2 wire. All the best!
