My reaction to seeing the mangled dog before I rewinded to see it was, "The fuck happened to that dog?!!"

People say that there was a massive fireball, but since it was a gas and hydrogen explosion there wasn't any explosion, fires started due to superheated graphite landing on bitumen and graphite that was superheated fell on rubble and grass causing massive fires to break out threating Block No.3. Soon after CNPP called SVPCH-6 and SVPCH-2 or Militarized Fire Stations No.2 and No.6 one situated in Pripyat with the other being the CNPP Fire Station/Brigade. The fire lasted 5 hours and ended at about 6:00 to 6:45 more or less. Following the days after firefighters came into the hospitals surrounding Pripyat and in Pripyat for nausea, projectile vomiting, bloody poop/diarrhea and more. Those with higher exposure at the Plant during the fire (including first responders and workers) were immediately taken to the hospital immediately in ambulances, those that suffered nausea, vomiting, bloody nose, etc were taken to the hospital immediately, but those that didn't go to the roof or at the reactor were fine for a few days before ARS symptoms started. Most people after that started went to the hospital before it got worse, most people that got non-lethal symptoms are and will usually be vulnerable flu due to their immuno-response and immune system being compromised, so flu can be deadly and any other bacteria/virus can kill them. They are also more prone to getting certain types of cancers due to this increased level of radiation making some of their cells mutate but then get quickly killed.
