I like to do four things.
1. Build sick SCX24 crawlers.
2. Make videos featuring sick crawlers.
3. Kick ass.
4. Chew bubble gum.
Don't worry, I've got plenty of gum, it'll be fine.

Nice! There were some challenging lines in that run. Your course is evolving nicely too.
@@bigdumbdad2226 thanks man! The wife has threatened to add some scale details but she hasn't done anything yet
Always like a good Hill climb 😊
@@jimbo4203 thanks Jimbo! It was a fun one to make!
Very nice, is that an FPV setup I keep seeing in the drivers seat?
@@bigdumbdad2226 yes sir I've got it working so I can see it on the screen, but I need to spend more to get it to record. You can't see much through the windshield, I dunno how worth it it is.
That rig is so whack! You've created something truly unique! Bravo!
@@MysticRiverRC thanks man I appreciate that! It's a challenge to drive, it sidehills very crappily but climbs straight ledges like a beast, so it's a fun drive.
Dont run over any three leaves 💥💥💥
@@WOLFTRAXRC Lol!
Pop goes the Meus!
@@bigdumbdad2226 I think I actually did the damage earlier in the run. With the front fully lowered the steering can bind up and I was pushing it on a tricky spot....it feels self inflicted.
High Roller keeping up just fine!
@@bigdumbdad2226 heck yeah! Unfortunately I snapped an axle on the Slowrider. I tried to do it in 3 wheel drive but it would only cut to the side...
@@Cletusl3ocephus you broke a Meus axle shaft? Nice!
@@bigdumbdad2226 yeah man that rig is especially good at breaking shit! I haven't had one problem with a servo like I expected...
Hey brother, are those tires the 68mm DJ Crawler pins? I like the look of them and they appear pretty grippy for this terrain? What are your thoughts on them? As always, love your style and content! edit: Also are you running inserts with these tires?
@@gadsdenflyer7353 yes sir they are the dj crawler pins. I'm super happy with them, they perform well on hard and soft surfaces, they are an awesome large tire. They come with a hard inner foam and a soft outer foam, in the rear I'm running full foams. In the front I'm running just the hard foam and then I've got them filled past halfway with bb's. I thought it would make them always want to push instead of turn, and it does, but not nearly as much as I thought it would. Yeah man I really like these tires, would recommend.
@@Cletusl3ocephus Welp... I guess I'm gonna have to check them out as well. Right now I have more tire sets than rigs, but I do have two rig projects going and I'm undecided on tires for either. I think I saw somewhere that these things multiple... like gremlins only with rocks. Thanks brother!
@@gadsdenflyer7353 yeah I'm about to embark on a new build pretty soon. I'm trying to emotionally prepare my wife for the coming drain on the bank account...

Good crawl
@@rockwolfdesigns6384 Thanks much!
Nice! Great shots and excellent crawling.
@@bigdumbdad2226 thanks man! Some videos turn out better than others, I think this one's pretty good!

@@mnutt113 Thanks Mason! You're awesome!
OG showing the kids how to do it!
That's right! Brushed rigs can do good things too!
Whoa! That magic winch line was fantastic! Nice work! Liked and subbed! Cheers!
Thanks, I really appreciate it!
WOW! You conquered it, but at what cost? That was an intense tumble, hopefully all is well and nothing it damaged. Amazing camera work.
Thanks man! She's fine, it's a Toyota, they are well built
Hey man, you got a tail light out! Seriously though, good job putting it back together.
Thanks man! I had everything I needed to fix it except for a spare red led
Nice winching action mate lovely rig 👌
Thanks much, I appreciate it!
Heck yeah! Love winch videos with this amazing rig.
Thanks bruh! You're freaking awesome btw!
Garbage audio, Im out
K bye!
Sweet! The course is looking better with each video.
Yeah, I add a little bit every time I get on it, over time it turns into something
YES! Fantastic run by The Coma.
Thanks man, I'm happy the course is becoming more drivable
wtf is it. Great setup there. It has forward skid 4 wheel steer Low as f Perfect dude
Thanks dude, it's a fun ride for sure!
I love how that body is so thrashed, totally goes with the aggressive abilities of that rig.
Thanks Rabbit! I've got to repaint this this every couple of months...
Sweet sweet redemption! That stuff is slippery and looks very challenging.
The new course is looking good.
It's coming along....I need to work on making it easier
So much fun!
Thanks a bunch!
It's like marbles on ice! You may need to break out the BFH and make some adjustments to the course. The Coma did great all things considered.
Aside from the failed attempts, Coma looks quite capable Cletus. Curious about your music selections though... is this your own? I know some people write their own stuff. It's not entirely my taste (being an old metal head) but it does have a Rockabilly tone to it, which I do enjoy from time to time.
No I'm not much of a guitar player. My musical taste has always been eclectic and weird, but as I get older I find myself listening to more bluesy music
High Roller deploying the winch line! The new course is a tricky one.
It'll get better with time. Once some rain cleans it off it'll be better. I think
Nice! That thing is so low that it slides before rolling when others would roll. Those look like good tires, I've been going crazy lately trying to watch reviews on tires, so many different opinions and options. Also, i tried contacting Akers for that chassis, they are either out of business or have crap customer service. Looking at the Killr Chassis Spectr Pro XL instead. Expensive, but comes with more. They also look like a company that has little to no communication as of late, no social media posts, and out of stock. We will see if they reply. Thanks for the video, badass music selection.
That's the problem with these aftermarket parts, they are run by mom and pops and rarely keep stock on the best items. With Akers it's just a dude and his wife, he does work projects for a few weeks and then does crawler stuff for a week or two. He had the chassis in stock but it was a month before he had more links....I was considering the killr for my next build!
Oh, yeah they are from lgrp...swamper, super swampers, something like that. This was the third set I tried when I built this, I am a fan of these tires! They are grippy on loose surfaces as well as rock, I'm pleased
Hell yeah brother!
Woohoo!
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die." - Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Awesome build!
That's an awesome quote! Thanks, I've stripped out one of the holes on the front axle housing. I've got a spare I just need to get to rebuilding that axle.
This rig kicks ass while taking names!.. an angry little beast! Thank you, i really wanted to see under that hood. I've been eyeballing that same chassis.. was thinking about stretching it out with long rear links, throwing on some wide axles and big tires, and having modular shock towers with more upright shock mounting positions. Not sure on the body, but have been thinking about chopping off the ridiculously long bed of the LGRP Toyota body. Gonna try to drop the rig low as possible, so no portals, but will likely opt for nylon X15 with brass where it's needed. Thank you for the show and tell!
I'm glad you like it Mrs Rabbit! On this one I used a "stock" brass axle for the front and a truly stock one in the rear. On another rig I've used the Meus isometric (sp?) axles and they are top notch. You certainly won't be going wrong with those X15s though, I'm considering them for my next build.
@@Cletusl3ocephus nice, yeah the x15 are simply super solid, this will be more of a 1/18 scale so i want tough axles. We will see, not sure on all the components. Just looked at Akers website again, damn they have some cool stuff! The links look a bit rough-cut unfinished, but they look like they'd work great.
Damn, I'm sorry to bug you, but that skid, where is that from? It looks smoothe! Very smooth and flush with the belly. The one on the website is different. They are out of carbon fiber, and only have aluminum and titanium. Titanium is better, but a pita to modify because it's so tough.
@@MrsRabbit8 Not bugging at all! It's an ogrc flatskid from Amazon. I'm not great at build videos, I should have talked about the flow. The flat skid together with the front diff skid and the hind skid really let it slide over the rocks, which is essential because I have it tightly limited to stay low. The diff skids come from 3flow9rc and I highly recommend them! He also sells those nifty roller bearing steering links.
@@Cletusl3ocephus awesome! Thank you, i thought that was it. Also, i bought a bearing steering arm recently, very cool! Okay, my build is coming together! I'm ordering the parts soon; -Akers Titanium Comp Gecko Chassis -52mm Nexx adjustable oil shocks -carbon shock towers to be mounted on angle off of the built in chassis towers to give upright shock angle and low ride height. (I just like more upright) -X15 nylon, with brass wideners, and brass here and there. -Furitek esc & motor -3flow9 parts -ogrc skid -gladiator length high clearance links -CCxRC Pine Tree tire inserts -LGRP x-factor Yota body (chopped off bed) -and a servo (must have wire out the rear, no stupid side wires) I'm gonna have to build it slow, I'm not rich. Lol
Great video man! I love seeing under the body of your builds.

Such a fun rig to watch! And you have great taste in music.
Aw thanks so much! I spend a lot of time wading through non copyrighted jingles to find something interesting, good to know it's appreciated!
@@Cletusl3ocephus dude, it's massively appreciated. Seriously, i have blocked channels who use the same song for every short.
