Is everything okay at home? Gifted kids literally didn't behave the way the school wanted because we were different. That's like the whole point. We are performing much higher than expected and that comes with increased awareness, usually resulting in questioning authority which schools hate.

When you cling to a sense of belonging and status from adolescence, when your self-worth is built on the fact that you probably have to get attention and like care put towards you from other people that are not your immediate family, you can get stuck in the high school mentality of always searching for a sense of belonging and status from whatever it is that you do.

What Leftist Content Could Feel Like if we just gave enough of a shit to actually declare ourselves important. No one is making us be defined by an algorithm, no one of us is being defined by others, we can choose what to put out there on the internet.
