Nice! I was there :) I think that is actually The Brewery in Raleigh btw. The old Cat's Cradle had a similar layout with an asymmetrical floor, but that ceiling gives it away. Or my memory is just shot after 30 years, one or the other.

Marti Jones is one of my top 5 or 6 all-time favorite singers. What a treat to get to enjoy one of her live shows when her glorious voice was at its young peak of power !! She cuts right through all those loud guitars like a Bell.... Plus she's so damn beautiful in the way she looks and expresses herself between songs...Thank you so much for posting this !

I was lucky enough to be at this show - incredible stuff. Lou was really drunk, this was the biggest crowd they had played in front of and he was nervous as hell apparently. What an amazing lineup that weekend too, especially the Sunday (Jesus Lizard, Helmet, Rollins Band, Therapy? Chili Peppers).

Incredible stuff, thanks for the upload! The distortion is a cool contrast to Tommy's sugary melodies. One of Americas greatest songwriters.
