    I would say, definitely if you are liking or getting into anime the best most reliable way to get to a lot of anime is embracing those websites that you seem to shy away from. This is because access to anime especially over here in America, is mostly through Crunchyroll or Funimation, which are greedy evil companies, that don't care about the creators or the consumers at all. You also don't have to look far for people to tell you this, pretty much all of anitube unanimously agrees that Crunchyroll is bad. The best way to support these shows is probably to buy merch, manga, or light novels, or telling your friends and audience to watch it, but Crunchyroll certainly does not deserve your money. Aside from that, normal services like Hulu, and especially Netflix don't usually have super big collections, nor do they have very good collections, a lot of really good shows you'll have to take to the Internet to find, if you think anime you watch is kind eh, it's probably because of the selection on the streaming service you're using not being super good. Second, over here voice acting isn't super vetted people and it's not super hard to get into, but in Japan they have colleges for voice acting, I'm not saying you'll like sub all of the time, but give it a try, and normally if the dub voice acting is bad the Japanese voice acting is immaculate, so if you don't like a voice in a show, give the Japanese voices a try. Sorry for the wall, and I'm sorry if any of that came off as mean, I just want to tell you some of what I learned, I'm just glad more people are watching anime.

      @@TheCinematicReviewerWell, even with the video I don't have an amazing idea of what your cup of tea is, but I'm getting that you do seem to like Shounen (trans. for young boys, typically action) and Romance, unfortunately you also seem to like Joshi (trans. for young girls, typically a romance subgenre) which I don't know much about. For Shounen I would say Re:Zero is really good, and it also has a romance in the background, the concept of the show is also really fascinating and I haven't seen anyone do it before. It also has a really good MC and a good cast of characters. The cast does get a little larger every now and then, but it still doesn't forget its focus on the goal and the main character, and the most it'll focus on someone else is 2 episodes tops, and it's very rare that they focus on a specific character like that. There's also a force that makes it impossible to get too far from the MC. Secondly, is Mushoku Tensei, a lot of people are mad at this show because they're missing the point, however I should say that this show does deliberately do things that are supposed to make you feel uncomfortable, but it's all for character development, it feels tasteless when you see some of these scenes, but they're supposed to be compared to better scenes, and I can promise that the main character, although it's slow, does become a better person. However if you aren't dragged in by the main character, the world is so fascinating, the combat is so clean, the animation and music are beautiful, and the characters are so animated and interesting. Dandadan is new, but I've found it very entertaining so far, the plot is completely unhinged in the most incredible way, I love it. The characters are so fun, the Japanese voice acting is immaculate and the entire show just looks really, really good. It also, at the moment has a very tight cast of characters, and there are many high profile manga authors that heavily praise the manga. Mob Psycho is also really good, it's about Mob, who is an esper (telekinesis and whatnot). Espers aren't super common in this world but there are a good deal of them. The show is about Mob trying to make his way in life, and grow as a person, while fighting the espers that attack him. It's really pretty to watch mob grow as a person and become a better version of himself, in addition the characters are also really entertaining and the art is very detailed and expressive. The last two shows I'd like to recommend (certainly not least though) are Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Steins;Gate Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood should not be confused with Fullmetal Alchemist, they basically have the same story but brotherhood is better, the way I understand it, they made brotherhood because nobody watched the original, it's a long one, but it's really good, I personally have not seen all of it, but every part of the show is just really good, I personally would not rate it higher than the other things I've mentioned, but it is really good. Steins;Gate is amazing, it is a fascinating time travel drama, it has a lot of really cool things that tie into the real world, and it mixes it all together in this really interesting character drama with a really tight cast, the first 12 episodes can be a slog if you aren't super into slice of life, but it gets super interesting after that and those 12 episodes are necessary. There is a reason this is my second favorite anime, and I'm sure you will enjoy it, Steins;Gate 0 however, I probably fell asleep watching it, they sort of just made the main character depressed and removed the best character in the show, and then through in a stupid and predictable plot twist, I'm sure that's really harsh, but I wouldn't watch it, though it is a sequel, so if you do want to check it out, make sure you watch S;G before S;G0 or you WILL get massive spoilers. Finally for a movie, I would say watch Your Name, I personally liked A Silent Voice more, but one, I think Your Name is anime original, so the pacing is way better. If people tell you about I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, for that and A Silent Voice, I would say read the source material first, because the like two hours they are allotted is not enough. (I do know you already watched A Silent Voice, if the pacing felt fast or rushed or weird that's why, the light novel is like 12 volumes and they try to cover the entirety of them). Sorry again the only typing I seem to know is walls, but I feel the need to explain what I say.

    • @TheCinematicReviewer
      @TheCinematicReviewer Місяць тому

      Thank you for the recommendations! I’ll definitely be checking them out! So far I haven’t enjoyed much of the romance Anime honestly, but I really enjoy Shounen thus far. I did try Mushoku Tensei very recently but I couldn’t last more than five minutes 😂 But I like the sound of these other Anime you suggested. Yeah I’ve heard of I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, is the Manga worth reading? I feel that I watched A Silent Voice so early in my Anime journey that maybe I’d have a different opinion on it now, who knows 🤷‍♀️

    • @tankarino4464
      @tankarino4464 Місяць тому

      Yeah, a lot of people love I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, but in my opinion the pacing is a bit wack, it moves really fast and there are moments when things happen, but they don't have much context, which just leaves you with a lasting confusion, which ends up making you not able to fully grasp how the characters feel, which is super important, because the way they feel about each other seems very complicated, but I don't know because they didn't give themselves enough time to explain it. I haven't personally read the source, but it feels like context and build up were missing, and that all it needed was more time, so source material is probably the way to go in that case. I would advise you to give Mushoku Tensei at least like 5 episodes, I understand if you don't like it, but at least get to where he makes the really big ball of water, that scene is so cool, and the music is really good for the openings and endings, so even if you don't like the show you'll get some stuff to add to your playlist. In addition, if you want some good recs, look at Brandon Talks, Scamboli Reviews, and Gigguk. They all primarily talk about anime, and if you don't like one you'll probably like the other because they are very different.

    • @TheCinematicReviewer

      Good to know about I Want to Eat Your Pancreas. Okay okay, I’ll give Mushoku Tensei more of a try 😂 Yes! I do love to add more great music 🎧 I love Gigguk! I’ll have to check out these other creators too. Thanks! ☺️

    Oh wow we have such similar opinions on this movie! I had fun seeing it, had a few good laughs, but ultimately, this movie can't hold a candle to the first two. I'm glad I saw it, but not itching for a rewatch any time soon. MCU kind of ruined it, imo. Just cause Disney owns the rights now, why does Deadpool HAVE to be a part of the multi-verse? Part of the fun of the first two was the fourth wall breaking comments on how the budget couldn't afford more recognizable cameos. I didn't know who juggernaut was, but when Deadpool was excited for his appearance in DP2, *I* was excited and it was funny! Disney spent the whole movie flexing their monopoly and trying to tie Deadpool into the greater lore. (though I agree that this movie left me interested to watch Blade as well lol!) Def agree with your point on the violence (esp the pointless fighting between Deadpool and Wolverine. I think it's interesting to see two people who have supernatural healing fight it out, but it was too much and without purpose. However, I can def see other people actually liking that aspect). I also felt Deadpool's motivations were...kinda lame. Him wanting to get into the Avengers just to please Vanessa? At the end of the movie, him saying he did all of it just for her? Idk it just felt stupid. Literally last movie they were talking about starting a family, why are they broken up now? I agree with your overall point that it felt like there were too many cooks in the kitchen in this one.

    • @TheCinematicReviewer
      @TheCinematicReviewer 4 місяці тому

      Thanks so much for the reply, Robin! 🤗 Guess great minds think alike 😂😉 Yes exactly, Deadpool was just fine without the multiverse, plus Disney/Marvel Studios has had a few years now to see the fans aren’t pleased by their attempt at a multiverse, it’s time for them to try something else. Yeah, I did end up watching Blade, I’d definitely like to share my thoughts with you when you have a chance to watch it ☺️ Yeah I forgot to mention it in the video but the inclusion of the Avengers felt pretty unnecessary to me. At least in Spider-Man: No Way Home Tom Holland’s Peter Parker mentioned them to relate to all three Spider-Men teaming up. Yeah definitely too many ideas thrown into one movie. Though hearing Ryan Reynolds talk about the other possibilities of Deadpool 3 they were drafting up (like a shot for shot remake of Thor: The Dark World) suggests this really was as good of an idea they could give us 🤷‍♀️

      Thank you!!! It was the messy love triangle in addition to the tennis that didn’t work for me 🎾

    I saw it... meh, big fat nothing burger. Where do I start. Movie early on talks about the faction made up of California and Texas, at which point I already started checking out. Seriously? That's about as likely as a polar bear and cheetah teaming up. Ten minutes of sitting around in a hotel lobby talking... I had to fight from dozing off it was so dull. There's a war going on, but we're never told why, or how. The plot, such as it is, revolves around 4 "journalists" trying to get to D.C. to interview the President, who is apparently about to be overthrown. Ummm, in what world would someone in that position think, "Yeah, I'm in the fight of my life, but I guess I have time to sit down and do an interview." Just silly. The actors I guess are supposed to look tired, but it just comes off as them as bored with the script as I am and decided to just phone it in; e for effort. Some dazzling war scenes may keep you awake. The rest of it drones on like an unnecessarily long 3 hour biopic about a nuclear physicist. Good news was that I watched it at home via an offshore website so at least I'm not feeling like I want my ticket money back. 3 out of 10 stars.

      Thanks for sharing your opinion! It definitely got a laugh out of me! 😉 I’m sure choosing California and Texas to team up was to avoid making a real world statement. From what I took from the movie, the war journalists are supposed to be apolitical reporters and the civil war is supposed to show the reality of war itself. I definitely agree about the president, pretty much everything in that regard was ridiculous.
