Yes you can do that. Or use the 12 volt plug that comes with the light. I just wanted a cleaner look as its my everyday work vehicle and I'm always putting tools in and out of the back. So anything sticking out will more likely get sheared off. I also thought about using one of my Aux switches but saving it for my trail follow lights I plan on attaching to the trailer hitch or above the brake light.

​@@broncodiyonabudget1615the wires you tapped into time out after 10 mins and cannot be changed with Forscan. Tapping into the 12V outlet is a better choice for those that want the clean look.

Shouldn't be hard. I beleive but might be wrong that all broncos come with the wires under the hood. You can attach your own aux box or on off button for each lead.

I know I replaced it when I found it. I had misplaced it as it came in the sub wiring kit. But was anxious to finish and put everything back together as its my daily driver. It's the same gauge as the 12V.

Yes I am able to put the top all the way back with zero issues. Also the remote is white and I placed it where I would naturally place my hand to open the door. So it's easy to find.

I installed mine on the underside of the roll bar. Plenty of light but may install a couple others on sides. I used WRGB rock lights. Work well.

It won't go on automatically with the optional IR remote plugged in. As that IR receiver acts like a gate switch you have to open with the remote to allow current to flow thru it.

The bass was very good. I just recently wanted a bigger thump. So I upgraded to a 2200 watt Rockville 6 channel amp. So I have 1 Chanel for each side and amp bridge between the back two pod speakers. It really thumps now. It was an easy swap since I had already ran all the wiring.

It depends if it's a self powered sub or you need an amp to power it. If it's one sub that requires an amp to power it. You need to bridge both left and right channels. If it's a self powered sub. Any signal from any speaker will do.

Sorry for late reply. You should get the power from the amp not the factory sub. Unless you want to delete the factory sub and just go with .aftermarket sub.

Yes. Constant voltage. I use the remote to turn it on and off.

I wired to the wires you suggested and lights do not go off when doors are closed and locked. They stay on. Does the other brown/green wire control voltage and shut off when doors are closed. Would prefer to have them turn off with OEM cargo light. May tap to aux switch also if I have a need to turn them on manually.

I've gone rock crawling three times and zero nicks on paint. I heard rocks bouncing off them all the time and the powder cpat has held up nicely. I eventually put mud guards on as on one occasion on the highway tire kicked up what sounded like a good size rock. Hit the step loudly and ricochet up and hit the. Bottom of the driver mirror then my window. If window wasn't up. Might of hit my face. All it takes one freak accident to ruin your day. So I said better safe than sorry and added mud guards.

Yes. Those are double the width of these. They cover an entire grill slot and are very bright. These are the size of the actual lights on the f150 raptor trucks. Have a tint so they are more subtle vs in your face bright. The wiring harness does make installation a little easier since you don't have to marry the 3 like I did. I could of ran the wiring up by the battery and used another aux switch but the low amps allowed me to use the the fog lights wiring and aux switch.

Yes it does. What I didn't do that I did later was swap out the ground for the one that came with the kit as I had misplaced it. You need a ground just as thick as the power cable your running to battery.

Correct. Hard wired to aux switch since the aux are already powered and just use remote to switch Amber to white.

So I finally got the dyno results back it gained just over 16 HP. With the high performance air filter. They said that's not good for off roading as it not designed to filter so much dirt as its a wet filter vs the dry more compact fiber one for off road. I have both filters and swap them out when I go off roading..

You can install factory fog lights. You will have to use forscan to activate them its main computer and also purchase a new light dial that has the fog lights option like upper trim levels. I considered that as my 1st option but I wasn't familiar with forscan like I am now.

@@1000raulm Yes much easier considering and also the dial that has the fog light option is over $100. this is a much easier and less expensive option.

I thought the bundle was missing it. When cleaning up I found it. It's the same size as the one for the battery. So I swapped it out. Was tired and forgot the record that part. But the bundle does come with a ground equal size to the power cable.

I thought I replied. Yeah I had misplaced the ground that came with the kit thats the same gauge as the power. When I was cleaning up I found it and swapped it out. By then I was done with recording and just wanted to get it done and all out back. Lol.

I love the sound sound. I went trail riding with 11 other broncos to Bronco knoll. The GPS coordinates on the passenger side roll bar. Everyone commented on how nice it sounds for it being a v6. They were it's hard to make a v6 sound good. They did a nice job.

Where do you live. They are looking to fit a 2.3 with that exhaust as well as a cold air intake and intercooler. All free if you let them fit it for R&D. I have their cold air intake prototype in mine at the moment.

Bummer! They are based in SoCal. ALL The ones I went off roadong with were all 4 doors mi us the guy who drove in from Seattle.

No performance downgrade, Nor upgrade. I would lose satellite reception sitting at a red light in a low over pass just like I did with the regular antenna. Drove 6 hours to mammoth ski resort and zero issues on my drive.

Maybe. The underlying objective of a blowoff valve (BOV) is to protect the turbo against damage while ensuring smooth and reliable drivability. It just so happens it makes a loud sound that gets everyone's attention!

When you let off the pedal on a turbo engine. You get what is called compression surge. the boost returns to the compressor wheel, when you let off the gas . You now have pressurized air strapped in the pipes and it can slow or stall the turbo wheel putting stress on the wheel shaft and bearings. Not only damaging, this surge can also mess with turbo response and kill drivability. The wheel loses its momentum and also creates lag. A good blowoff valve can come to the rescue and keep the surge out of the turbo by venting it to the atmosphere. Pssshhhh!

Thanks. I'm doing a full speaker upgrade with amp and 10 inch sub in the back step by step as well. Hopefully will be up by next week if I am able to do it this weekend.

I'm going to try to install amp with upgraded speakers. Just gotta find time to do it. Being a single dad to a 10 yr old.. Free time is hard to come by unless its super early and shes still sleeping on the weekends. Lol.

@@broncodiyonabudget1615 I hear ya. I have a 5 and 3 year old half the time. Wrench time is hard to come by. Although I had mo day off and put the muffler on and swapped out all 6 speakers. I love the sound of the muffler. The speakers, kicker, are better. But I definitely need to add a powered Amp one of these days.

@Brad Crites yes kickers are the ones I ordered to install. 6x5 as well as the 4. I have a 10in sub in a box I will add for more bass.
