Welcome to the Brinkley family!!! We have a Z3100 that we've had for a year now. Quick note on your calculations. To find the actual weight of your trailer you'll need to weigh your truck separately to figure out what your pin weight it. You then have to add the pin weight to the trailer axle weight to get the GVW of the trailer. We went through this learning curve as well, it can get confusing at times. Still blows my mind that the Braves no longer play at Turner field. We lived in the Atlanta area from 2000 to 2003. I had a coworker that had access to season passes and whenever they weren't used, she gave them to our family. Used to sit a few rows back from Sheffield, the out fielder. I'm not a baseball fan, but it was fun to go and be a part of the energy. And try all the different style of hot dogs.

Whats your trucks GVWR?

I'm going to ask a possibly stupid question. But how do you get a weight on the trailer including contents when the kingpin is supported by the truck. We have a Brinkley Z3100 and I want to weigh it on the next trip but don't understand how that works. Gross for truck and trailer is easy to understand but I confused on how to separate truck weight from trailer weight when connected.

defiantly a delayed reaction to a bumper pull, same issue for me when I went to a 5th wheel. now I wouldn't go back. you have to be more deliberate and aggressive with the truck to get it where you want
