I recently caught up with it and it was very enjoyable. I really loved how big of a part sports played in the story and the main romance. Most romance mangas that I've read that try to combine genres end up making one way less relevant than the other, but that was luckily not the case with Blue Box. I also liked that the main couple weren't too tropey.

I never really understood why people would call the Natsu/Taiki/Hina situation a love triangle. Love triangles normally have two people falling for one and the same person (as is the case here) and this person then finding himself in a dilemma because he can’t make up is mind who he should choose. That’s not the case in Blue Box at all! From page one onwards Chinatsu is the only logical choice for Taiki and he never wastes a single thought on jumping ships. Hina was doomed to end up as collateral damage from the get go. Let’s see if she finds someone new before the school year ends. 🙂

the firekeeper’s daughter is one of my favorites! i read that one in like a day it was so good. both of the author’s books are top tier in my book

When it comes to to the hashira training I thought it was nice to have a break from all the death and destruction and it may have seemed like a waist of time in the anime we are going to need that wholesome feeling before diving into the carnage and soul destroying arc wich is the infinity castle so I like to think of it as the calm before the storm

Girl i just physically cannot finish this book after i learned Shiori and Takkai will be an endgame 😭😭 I shipped her and seryo sm it broke my heart. Plus i HATE HATE HATE HATE love triangles. The worst ever the mc never ends with the one i want💀😭
