I'll start saying that I'm not the best translator in this world, but I've studied Latin from four of five years I spent in highschool, so I wanted to try translating this. Another note is that "avitus est" is making no sense to me, it should be a verb, a passive perfect, but don't exist anything like that, but there's instead an adjective meaning "the most ancient", "ancestral", so I translated it as if it was that adjective indicating a quality of the subject, the catastrophe To be fair all the sentences haven't the order that should have in classical latins, and this is strange, especially in that sentence from before. Iustissimus is more like "the most righteous" or "the most just", but I think that in this context is also "deserved" (the word is within the meanings of Iustus in the dictionary i was using and a is also a logical conclusion the most just catastrophe is the deserved catastrophe) Maybe for avitus est there's something in the good old Montanari, but I prefer the Olivetti online dictionary because I'm not willing to risk my life climbing a bookshelf
