Hello brother, "Worship music" is so widely defined today. I grew up singing old tradition American hymns. Maranatha praise music in the 70s and 80s I also found prayerful. Today there's metal, rock, country, and I don't know what to call some of the repetetive, almost trance-like music in some churches. Often it seems focused on entertainment and encouraging an emotional frenzy, and not just directed unto the Lord. It can be very distracting from the truth. Reading the Word is good in silence or reading out loud while praying about seeing what God's message is to me at that moment. I can't mix that with the music though. Proverbs instructs us to seek knowledge that gives us Godly wisdom and discernment about what the world teaches that leads us toward destruction. The New Testament teaches humility and love that is required of us, along with grace for our brother and sister in Christ. The old Testament is the Genesis of creation, God in all history, and so much more. A few hours a day reading scripture for as long as you live is needed to get a righteous understanding even at the basic level. The Bible is alive, as we read it, it reads us. I encourage you to take the time to seek wisdom along your path with the Lord as you walk with Jesus. Thanks for lifting up the Lord on your videos. ✝️

Good stuff! I’ve seen time and time again how God uses the mess we’ve gone through to bless someone else. The trials we go through are always a learning moment to grow us in our faith and a future opportunity to teach and encourage someone else going through the same stuff. God is great!

Man, this has been such a relatable series for me. Well done fellas. Talking about triggers, living on the beach in Gold Coast Australia is full of triggers. Might sound funny, but it’s so true. The things women wear these days don’t leave a lot to be desired and I have to literally repeat a mantra in my head to not look. Even if I win those battles 8 or 9 times out of 10, there’s still up a dozen times a day that i look and then the next battle begins. The battle is real. God miraculously cured me of so much almost immediately, but this battle has been a constant in my life for decades at this point.

Thank you for sharing your story. It has given me hope for my marriage. My wife and kids left me last week, due to my anger, control, and unpredictable outbursts. She said she needed time and space to heal. I have done that, and currently in a state of panic and fear based on my actions and behaviors. Please pray that God will work in my heart as I am attending biblical counseling. Also be with my wife and kids who have not spoken with me since they left last week. Pray for softened hearts and hopefully a marriage restored.
