Nice day out exploring. thank you for sharing. Wishing you a fantastic weekend.
💛...very cool... what was that view-master thingy called?...
@@haroldtakahashi8875 I'm not sure but it was pretty darn cool
So stunning!!
@@meganbmoore tough hike but so beautiful
💛...the oakland a's should've chosen this for their temporary field... of course, calling them the angel a's might be confusing...
A welcomed change
Hate to play a game in the fog..I heard the bat crack where the hell is the ball?
I can imagine the enlisted men on the island playing as the command staff looked on. Pretty cool field and dugouts
Brilliant.
I could watch and listen all day.
💛...the very picture and definition of serenity...
💛...i'd stay out just from hearing that music playin'...
@@haroldtakahashi8875 interesting part of the island I probably shouldn't have been in
@@TheOutdoorInc ...oops...
Nic e video. Thank you for sharing 😊
A nice feast for a bird with a good eye
@@bansenpy5553 would eat for days out there with what we saw
We visited a few years ago and walked all the way around, very cool place with tons of history. Thanks for making the video.
@@tuneuptony3679 Very cool. Would be awesome to see under the Nike Missle site.
💛...i think the only reason that the islands in sf bay aren't overrun with homeless is because they're too inaccessible by water...from the looks of it, most of the buildings are solid structures, and, considering how much has already been spent, repurposing should take a fraction of that... on the other hand, these are historically significant sites and would be an ecological benefit for a model self-sustaining community/historic town (like columbia, for example)... btw, i got to be a chaperone for my granddaughter's class overnight stay at the civil war barracks and they took a night hike up mt livermore (?), which gives a 360degree view of the bay at night... it was really cool... anyway, it's a great episode and quite a wonder that it has survived thus far in the middle of gavin country...
@@haroldtakahashi8875 Thanks for sharing. Would be great to stay in the barracks or at least camp atop the mountain there with views of the city.
💛...the first time i saw one of these, it was a moving red mass...i didn't know what it was and it was really creepy... when i got up close to actually see what it was, it was cooler because you can scoop up a handful without getting bitten...
What area is this in
Churchill county
So, the adults wear helmets and the kid doesn´t...does gravity can tell the difference?
@@gmmk-sadf guess it takes a genius to notice the height of the mines are nowhere near 3ft tall

May Freja favor Brutus on the hunt. I love that youre still Kahu for your goodest bestest pup! As always...

💛...constantly amazed at the amazing things you find...both in locations and artifacts...very cool...
@@haroldtakahashi8875 Thanks. I did find a make shift ore cart that was wooden with thin axels. Was in tough shape but was very close to the ore bin. I'll post a picture on the channel. Thought I captured it on video but guess not
Nice exploring. Thank you for sharing 😊
Seems really fun i do it all the time as a 14 year old but should you really bring your 6 year old not making fun of you just asking
@@Ghostlyliquids we have been doing adventures such as hiking, ghost town exploration, and even going underground in mines. We are safe and practice safety measures before, during, and after. We recap what we do on and off the trail.
💛...beautiful location/campsite...one of my top criteria for choosing a suitable site is the accessibility of trees situated far enough apart for a hammock...here's to having a safe and adventurous outdoor future...
@@haroldtakahashi8875 Thank you as always my friend.
Nice video. Thank you for sharing 😊Wishing you a wonderful upcoming weekend and Holidays 😊
Likewise. Hope it is filled with Holiday cheers and good times.
Merry Christmas to you and family..Keep shooting the videos!!!! I watch all !!!! and good to see old Brufus is around..
Thanks and Merry Christmas to you and yours. Old Brutus is hanging in there.
I stayed at the Belmont Inn a few times when it was open. The chimney at the smelter you visited was used for target practice by the "fighter guys" (flying P-39 Air Cobras if I remember right) from the Air Corps training base you visited outside Tonopah. The pock-mark holes in the side sometimes still have the "bullet" in them. Tonopah had both Fighters and Bombers training at the same base. The Hangers outside Tonopah were, and may still be, the longest single span wooden trusses ever used to hold up a roof.
Nice abandon place. Wishing you a great upcoming weekend 😊
@@NorwayHikesTrails thanks and hope the weather is good where you are to get out and enjoy it.
As a northern Nevadan I have been to Belmont and many other ghost towns. There's a lot to see and you present it so well with a concise and well illustrated presentation. Don't change your style and thanks for sharing.
@@rondeichman Thanks so much. I keep it simple to keep my daughter interested. Sometimes it's hard to present info while trying to take it all in at the same time.

I own the old red bird mine not to far from there, I have walked through that mine numerous times. There is some drifts with bad air but other than that it's not dangerous.
