I've always wanted to do a Tool cover on here! Vicarious has pretty tame time signatures as far as Tool goes, and I wanted to do a song not too many people cover, so here's Jambi!
The compressor mic is new for my recordings, I bought it a while ago and never really figured out how to use properly. I'm still learning how far to distance myself from it when I sing. Turns out it wasn't too tricky to set up though, and I think there's an appreciable difference in audio quality -- especially since I actually mixed the raw audio from the instrumentals rather than just letting it play from my monitor during the recording.
