In my opinion, the best time to go on hikes, is during the early morning or late afternoon. Early Morning, around 7-9am--cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, better chance of spotting wildlife, great lighting for pics :-) also, late afternoon, after 3pm.... Cooler temperatures as the day winds down, the lighting is softer (great for photos), you’ll avoid the peak midday crowds. I would avoid hiking midday, 11 AM - 3 PM, especially in summer, as it can get hot and more crowded on popular trails. In the fall, the early mornings are great to catch crisp, clear air and beautiful foliage views.

There are a couple of great places in the area that serve fresh oyster stew. Royal Palm Grille in Destin has it, and they’re known for their seafood, so you can’t go wrong there. Also, Acme Oyster House in Miramar Beach is another spot that offers Oyster Rockefeller Soup, and they’re famous for all things oysters. Both places have great reviews, so I’m sure you’ll enjoy whichever one you choose! Hope that helps and I hope you enjoy the stew!

@@nohomenomadder, it definitely is the best water park and if you stay at Cabana Bay you get early access 1 hour before park opening at the entrance located near the East Tower for Cabana Bay Guests.

There wasn't really anyone there. I was a little sad about that. They sanitized after each ride and there was hand sanitizer stations set up at each ride and throughout the park :-) We never felt unsafe.

I don't like crowds, so it was perfect for me. A little sad for Legoland, but we had so much fun.

This was our first time and we are ready to go back! It was great.
