I got the Sigma fp 3 years ago used for about $1000 and I love it. I have taken some of my all time favorite portraits with the 65mm f2 lens on this camera body. Sigma has great color science. I don't use it as much anymore since I also have a GFX from Fujifilm and I like using flashes/strobes for a lot of my portrait work which you can't really use well on the fp or fp l.

I don't agree that Fuji has the best color science. Leica and Hasselblad take that prize.

I own the Lexar Go Portable 1TB SSD, primarily for my iPhone shooting purposes, but I'm planning to buy the Sigma fp L camera (also used). Do you know if this Lexar SSD would work with the fp L as well? That would be great since I’d have enough storage for the DNG files produced by the camera. Also, the lexar hub that came with the ssd will help a lot for charging while shooting

Just a note to would-be buyers: there is no mechanical shutter on this or the regular fp. Sensor readout isnt the fastest and I believe it is even slower on the fp-l. I have an fp for video and a hybrid camera to use for photos. And I unfortunetly don't use either very much right now. 😢

I loved hearing about this camera, as I'm not as knowledgeable in other camera brands. (Due to non exposure as much as I am learning now) I liked learning about the cinema feature!

About the lut thing, Nikon has developed a new method using NX studio to create your own color profiles (lut) and upload them into the nikon Z6 III and Z50II (should be coming to old cameras soon enough)
