Fire Mountain 2024 Endurance Ride
Great performance by the WHR team!
All 4 horses competed and completed.
Day 2 - 50 mile ride:
•Gia on WHR LimiTed Edition 2nd place
•Mary on ALittle Too Much CH and Rachael on WHR Rivera 17th and 18th place
Day 3 - 50 mile ride:
• Mary on ALittle Too Much CH and Rachael on WHR Rivera 12th and 13th place
- 30 mile ride:
•Carolyn on SX Whisper 1st place
All 4 horses competed and completed.

Great weekend at the BT ride with ALittle Too Much CH - winner of the AHA Region 2 championship (ridden by me) and WHR LimiTed Edition (ridden by Lilia Lucero) winner of the 50 mile ride on Saturday. Lovely experience and stunning completion to get my second 1* (65 miles), and now I’m allowed to got 2*. Because I ride under the Italian flag it’s complicated to request to ride in the US so most likely I’ll just have fun and do a few more 1*, and next year will recheck my options. Lovely 50 mile ride. Rachael competed Alittle Too Much (Sara), and I rode WHR LimiTed Edition. Trails to die for, wind was blowing hard but kept horses cool. We placed 4th and 5th, right behind 3rd just one or two minutes off, and 15 mins behind 1st and 2nd. We are very happy with our accomplishments! Go White Horse Ranch!

I had the utmost luck of riding a beautiful mare owned by Nuova Santa Vittoria Endurance Horses, and through no fault of the horse we didn’t complete. She was just a Ferrari in my hands and I wasn’t the best rider to get her through this ride. Weather conditions were unfavorable. I hope I’ll be able to give it another try next year! #enduranceriding #arabian

Lovely ride with rocky switchbacks, up and down hills, super nice Tevis training. You get to ride on the beach. We went up with 4 horses, two of which are going to be competing at Tevis 2022. It was a magical training day for us!

A wonderful historical ride in SoCal, that offers Intro, 35 mile, 65 mile and 100 mile distances. This year the trail was a little different and maybe “easier” ? as for the lack of enough vets they had to re route almost all the loops back to base camp. Yea! We don’t have many crew points with crew to help so we need to be able to get water on the horses as much as possible without dismounting! I though it’d be interesting to see and that’s why I filmed it 😝

Great video! What percentage of the trail is the deep sand? I worry about the suspensory ligaments :/
Hi! I rode the 50 mile ride. At least 25% of it was deep sand. On the 25 mile loop I think at least 40%. We had to go significantly slower on the deep sand loop to avoid any injury

Such a great video Gia. I see you added J.J.'s drone footage which really gave it a polished look. Some of the captions were messed up but those were from GoPro's software, yes?
I didn’t put any caption (maybe the automated one from UA-cam?) or are you talking about the slides with the titles on? Yeah, I couldn’t fix a few things unfortunately but still though it was really cool so I put it up! :)))
Oh, maybe it was UA-cam's captions. I never thought of that. Their captions are frequently wrong.
