I have a r7 5800x, a rx7800xt, Mb b450 tomahawk max ii, i did exactly what you said and now my pc boot eveytime in the bios m, Windows don t load, any idea ? I tried to disabled the changes but still boot on bios 😢

What happens when the update never finishes and now you cant boot your pc? Doesnt post at all.

Neither works so simply don't buy MSI. I tried for to days to update my 3 year old bios and nothing worked. From I see on the web I'm not alone with this glitch.

How many is "several" minutes? Mine is going on more than 10 minutes im not sure if its still updating

Awesome video. Thank you. I copied over the M-Flash files (both verified) into my Bios and can see today's date, but nothing shows up under the System volume information. The flash drive is formatted correctly, and I downloaded the newest BIOS for my MSI motherboard. I don't know why the file won't show in BIOS.

you dont explain (nobody does i dont know why) that you need your hard drive set to gpt and to do that you need a 2tb hdd minimun. i wanna enable sam on an ssd but im searching on the web (and failing) if its needed the same requirements

I just knocked 100 Mhz off the core clock. Problem solved. My hotspot never varies any more than 5 degrees from the average. Fur mark running half a day my hotspot temps will not exceed 80c

what about memory temp under load?. Mine was up to 94c and im worried.

M-Flash method worked amazingly. New Ryzen 7000 cpu. Games were crashing while playing them so hopefully this helps!

i put on max limit of 2.80 and stress test = crash = failed on a water cooling

I have trouble since 2 months now.. my core ist at 60c while my junction temp is at 110c and i got a custome water cooling. I tryed undervolting. IT Just makes the temps get slower to the 110c. I added new thermalpads. No results. I added new thermal Paste. No results. Im at the ege of giving Up. Does Somebody have advice?

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! I've been trying to update the bios on my MSI B450-A Pro Max for the paste 8 hours. Other videos on UA-cam said to rename the file to MSI.rom but not to change file type. I looked at your vide and a bell went off when you said to change the file type to rom. Tired that and now the little white LED light is flashing happily as the bios is now updating. Thanks, you don't know how much trouble you saved me. Again a million thanks.
