I just received mine in the mail today; pretty decent. The only immediate complaint I have is that the middle support is hard to adjust from the horizontal position to the vertical position because of the length of the screw. There are barely any threads sticking up through the support for the knob to catch on. I was able to wedge a piece of wood slightly under the screw to lift it up so that the threads could catch the knob and be screwed down. Other than that, at least thus far, I haven't seen anything else worthy of complaint. I only paid a tad over $70 for mine, so for the price paid, it looks to be a good value. Nice video by the way!

Funny how I'm going through a rabbit hole reading articles about loctite and this pops up. I'm very experienced with choosing the right method for things but i was reading Vortex website and its hilarious to me that they say NEVER USE loctite on scope rings. Its just utter false information. I'm installing a Vortex Diamondback into American Defense Manufacturing Recon-SL rings and they say the only thread locker they recommend is by Vibra-Tite.... So this is like saying Vortex is okay with ADM using a threadlocker, because ADM rings come with a threadlocker installed on the bolts, but us users should never use a threadlocker. Like, what a joke. Anyway, I'm reading the loctite website, a NASA article, and several others to try and figure out exactly the best method for Loctite products and according to Cycle World, you should reduce torque specifications by 25% of recommended torque spec when using loctite. For the record, I completely agree with using Loctite 242 or 248 but according to loctite, 242 has a breakaway torque of 71inlbs and 248 is 200inlbs so take that for what you will. I will always use Loctite as a secondary measure. Only thing I can't find right now is torque tables related to my specific screws. Also, another FYI, according to Loctite, we shouldn't even be using 242 for this. Its only supposed to be used on bolts 1/4" or larger and I can only imagine it's due to that breakaway Torque value being 71inlbs. I read somewhere it's possible it can break the threads and I mean, it makes sense. Edit in case anyone cares, we should be using Loctite 222 which is for bolts UP TO 1/4". Lets be real though, we all know 242 and 248 is fine.
