If all you have is liver and nothing to tie with I highly recommend just dropping your bait in right by the bank. Try to find a spot with obvious erosion to the bank from water flow as it should be at least 3-5 feet deep right off the bank. Give it a slight flip toss (with your thumb lightly on the spool) out away from the bank then take your thumb off and let it sink. It sounds childish but I’m telling you right now that this catches way more catfish than it should. Look at the catfish noodlers. Constantly catching 50+ lb channel cats in knee deep water.

The bad thing about sharks is they run and then thats it. Reel them in no fight coming in. Unless a mako

@davidknight1973 I like threading it personally so it can be moved fairly easy. You can definitely tie it but that's just one more weak point. If you want it to 100% stay put, on the last hole send the tag through twice. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
