I'll explore what I believe true strength is for a character. Is it to turn into a complete monster and discard all? Or to keep reasoning and continue along the path of humanity? Find out my answer in this video #JujutsuKaisen #mobpsycho100 #RyomenSukuna #GojoSatoru

Bakugou Katsuki & Yuno Grinberryall : The Pressure Of Talent

Today I will explore the change I have have towards these characters I used to hate, it's fair to say both have a lot of controvery around them in terms of how they either match "Steryotypes" of their previous Shonen seniors. Bakugou is the personification of Fiery and Rude and Yuno being called the Sasuke Of Black Clover, but I want to dive a little deeper even if only for a bit to show they'r...
Depth and complexity is different, I think Deku has a lot of depth that's downplayed (I've been leaving the same comments in hopes people understand) For me Deku feels so human, even though there is that Shonen trope/gag stuff and Western super hero implementation but it feels intentional for a homage to an extent like how his character always respects and grasps other people's individuality that everyone saw that Deku apparently lacked which he projects himself to which leads him to be so selfless. It's so interesting to me to see the story shows his sometimes expressionless nature that he's traumatised from his younger self to be lesser than and you see that when the story shows him to look like more of a Villain than a Hero, and Shigaraki with his white hair more looks like an Angel similar to the Demon Lord and All Might being seen as these far off beings on the screen. Deku is shown so many times shown to go against the Farther of the of a family regardless of tradition which has it's own set of meanings for Deku growing up without much of a father figure and in Japan the parental hierarchical structure is different, so it always feels like Deku has this naive or ignorant world view the story takes advantage of because he projects a lot of his experience with Bakugo and how he's changed/ the theme of forgiveness/atonement/saving with other people, it very much shows even though he's trying his best to understand there is always that underlying sense of selfishness to impose his worldview but there is also very valid/well meaning behind his words and the story never shows him to be "right" or "wrong" but that he's trying his best to understand, as well as the villains Deku also has a slightly warped view that feels like a Shonen protagonist but isn't holistically seen as a good thing (which leads to some of the things in the current manga I'm guessing). For example when Deku says his well meaning talk to Todoroki about he's a caring /nice person/ about his farther, while well meaning it can come off ignorant not knowing the whole situation he projects his forgiving Bakugo without an apology on to him, the story shows how Deku's voice came off the opposite to Natsu that he isn't a caring person (while in reality he shouldn't have anything to do with Endeavor) another example is Deku talking to Aoyama and how realistic it is for Aoyama, while justified Deku wanted a fair fight against Todoroki (a double layer of ego and saving), while also to save him but that can also come as imposing his world view similar to Kota later and how Todoroki even says that it can feel overwhelming seen as a small gag moment. The well meaning side of him makes me love his character, because it is hard to understand the world from different perspectives, it's also that allegory of ADHD or autism that quirks have some surrealistic semblance to (especially when he's trying to fit in with people with quirks that sometimes he feels out of place when he was trying to make his ultimate move and also the start of the series, he feels so overwhelmed at how different they are in terms of their individuality where as Deku as used his own self destruction as something to improve for a lot of the series to even create scars) it also relates to his name Deku (The one who can't do anything/ Or Wooden puppet) in his Dutiful and pragmatic nature which is sometimes dulled by his altruism and his hopeless devotion to a cause similar to All Might, the individuals he carries Melissa's Gauntlets, Smile or society of all might to show a fake smile, Iida's kick to not destroy his leg to deviate from All Might, his mother's costume, the Sole Shoes by Mei all cover his individuality in that arc before he breaks from that sense of duty and ego. I also wanted to talk about how the series is always critiqued for never having punishment (aside karmically) but that's also the cool thing with MHA aside from conflicts that have to happen (Hawk's stuff), but the series also loves to show punishment isn't the only way to flourish as a human being and it's also such a cool thing does, you can relate that to Deku and how much he loses despite how some of his wins are seen as just wins but Deku as a character always doesn't see it as that, whether it's his altruism dulling his sense of intelligence from emotionality or sole commitment to a lost cause that's tunnel visioned, you see some of the flaws build up and I hope the series finally gets a chance for him to show his self fish side because I think as a human it's probably untenable to be so selfless, it's one part of his dichotomy from his selfless and selfish side, MHA shows everyone's human and so is Deku to have that selfish side of him as it is Human to do so. I feel like I can ramble on and on about him but I love his empathy being the main thing and how it's rooted and just his character is amazing I personally think, I really want more people to talk about other sides of him whether it's his intelligence, mindset, design evolution, Japanese context how Deku can feel different in another lenses, him crying changing over the series and isn't always necessarily the same because he doesn't want to go back to his "worthless" self showing that he thinks he was only gifted to be a human when he had a quirk (because he sees quirks as humanity for himself to be fulfilled for himself to be an actual person/ego the % usually correlate to his ego as a complete successor until status quo changes with multiple quirks which you can go further in detail, which is showed in the manga and how "hearts" is sometimes interchangeable with quirk and humanity to him, he can also be ambivalent) I just want people to recognise the story has given a lot of depth and people just ignore it while not giving a lot of fair thought to it.
The problem with bakugou is not talent but rather his lack of accomplishment. Bakugou is unquestionable a talented and inspiring hero but never accomplish anything to prove it i.e beating villains & saving lives. A-1 class became famous not because almight is their teacher but because they fed off a group of villains without training. If deku fights were made public in MHA, it easily overshadows Bakugou no matter how many times he beat deku.
Finally someone understand my boy, this man was being told he was worthless since 4 and lacked something centennial to the world he lived in a quirk which would affects how an individual would act how they eat, sleep and thing I believe the reason deku was willing to sacrificial limbs was because the environment he was a produce of being told your worthless for years up to when he got one for all. Deku sees one for all as a gift and in a way kinda like yuji, how he sees himself as a cog in a system, deku is sees himself as a place holder and used that gift to finish weilders before to reach an end goal even if that's the end of his dream always putting others first before himself.
What the music of this
so many of the same people that clown Deku praise Luffy lmao
Thank you!
safe writing nuked all narrative value MHA could've had.
i need to share this with my friends who just can't understand him for the life of them bc they are just unable to be empathetic enough to understand
Yeah, no one wants to understand deku at all, like damn, he's 15 and he's dealing with a lot in his life
Thumbnail is good
Thanks, made it myself
I swear I've heard your voice on another channel
I have another one named prince of what ifs
@@Analyze3 yooo
This was a amazing video. I really liked how you explain that while yes, Izuku isn't deeply complex, he's a great character/ protagonist because he still strived to be hero just like his idol.
Dope video
thi is a really good take but i just thought that all of them have a way to get power and respect the way mob does it is way more unique in that aspect because even though he has streghnth without reagan telling him that his power is a weapon hed'd just be another gojo or sukuna but the thing is that also stunteed his growth as a human and stunted his power because his powers aren't just a weapon they are tools tools that sukuna and gojo used without care while mob was too scared to use
yeah that's exactly my point though, when you're like Sukuna, obviously it's do or die but he also had options, considering how op he is now, you know he was clearly talented as hell since jujutsu is 80% talent, he chooses to not find anything else of a deeper meaning but it doesn't mean that his viewpoint is wrong because that's how he grew, I just think it's a waste
All of what you said apply to our world... But that's is world where you have to power to over take a country all by yourself that's a world where you can literally become immortal... And in the end in those kind of world those that hold that most power will alway win... If yuji and all his friend combined power >>> sukuna's current power they will win
true, I mean im not really focusing on just power dynamics, I'm talking about the option you have to turn into a monster or remaining human but powerful, forget the battles and focus on the people and you see how sad it is that kids who are still in puberty are being told they need to be tools or be monsters
This was excellent! Ever since season 2, Stain emphasized the emptiness of the word "hero" and sought to redefine it. Your insights were spot-on. I eagerly anticipate more content like this in the future. One love my boyyyyy💯👌👍
Finally a youtube who understands and respects the raw depth Horikoshi gave mha in terms of heroic ideals....and i feel like this also proves the fact that all mights death is meaningless. Wether he physically dies or not doesnt change the story in the grand scheme of things because the symbol he was and his mental presence had died back in season 3. He passed his flames onto the next generation. So i never understood peoples obssesion with wanting all might to literally die All might had great conviction...but in trying to hide things and take on the world by himself...he set up society for failure in a way Thats one of my issues with part of the anime onlys in the fandom...they seem to ignore the depth the series takes to dive deep into these topics. They ignore what makes the villains, villains and only praise the heroes of the series, and people will straight up drop the show or get bored when the series focuses on its world building
yeah its weird for fans to hate an author taking time to explore other character even though that's what thye keep asking for, it just seems most want their interpretation to be manifested
I like that you now like yuno in my opinion hes one of the best rival type characters there is from what ive consumed
yeah it's a respectful rivalry between him and asta, that's what i like about it, it's not inherently toxic
Good point. Made me think for sure. Keep it up mate
then i did my job
Both yuno and bakugo are still kids and have so much room to grow . Bakugo was a toxic person because of his world and people seem to forget that and blindly hate the character
i was one of those people, it takes a lot of perspective to sympathize when he's being an asshole but people acted like it was ok so he kept acting that way, it's just sad
Bakugou is someone who Peak on Highschool.
this was good I mean literally since season 2 stain was talking about how the word hero had no meaning so he wanted to change that damn this was good
lowkey inspired me to make this video
Inversely theirs some selflessness in selfishness. If given proper motivation a selfish person will put forth the most effort and the utmost dedication in others due to their selfish nature. I’m reminded of the classic stories points of a villain or antagonist temporarily helping the hero and being just as good if not better at helping people.
Yeah, I mean, villains start it all, shigaraki is defintly better as a villain than All For One in that aspect, it's always about the need to change something that ends up ruining yourself for the sake of others
Your final argument I have to push back on. You state that "Allmight knows he has brought peace. . . Things will always go wrong, once it does people won't wait on standby for a hero they will forge forward themselves and inspire others to do so." To attribute this conclusion to Allmight is rather wrong. The person that actually brought this to mind and then forced everyone to take a hard look at society and take up the mindset you mention was in fact Shigaraki, a villian. In Shigaraki I am your villain speech when he initially wakes up he openly says that heroes like Allmight have created a society that looks past the weak and struggling waiting for a hero to show up and handle the issue. And his very existence is proof of this message. Shigaraki tells you that the complacency of the world is more damaging than villains and is why society should change not Allmight.
I think they both do it, obviously I won't deny that Shigaraki breaks it down more but AllMight shows the more optimistic side. It's not necessarily wrong but Shigaraki defintly disagrees, so do I, but I acknowl33dge a certain part of his whole ideal, AllMight wants everyone to stand up for themselves because he was like them and that's why I say he failed in the beginning because he became more of a God in their eyes. But I'd have to say, his latest version of himself definitely reflects that more, no superpowers, just pure bravado, a bit of insanity and pure heroism
Well I’m happy almight won’t die at least
yeah, silver lining
I love the points you make, but I can't keep watching. I didn't know you'd be using Manga panels, and I'm anime only for MHA. A spoiler warning would've been nice.
ah, I'll let yall know next time, but most of it is gonna be spoilers😅
Been awhile
You brought forth some valid points. I look forward to another video like this in the future.
i hope the next one doesn't take too long to make
I like your point good video dude. You earned a sub!
thanks man
You actually created a new channel to start over? W
What was his old channel?
Great vid dude, I used to think the exact same way.....Yuno's become one of my favourite characters after doing some more in depth reading and ive grown to understand bakougu way more( just wish the dude did shit outside deku's shadow). As funny as it is to say there like the Modern day Sasuke's
its good to come back and reevaluate your opnions every once in a while cause i never though i'd be making this my first video
