    Too many people are put off by the intense garlic odour but I use an entire bulb of garlic when I make hummus. The benefits of garlic far outweigh the sulphur smell. Or just make a garlic paste using minced raw garlic, some olive oil, crushed chilies, and black pepper (or whatever spices you like) and refrigerate. In the morning the paste will thicken up like butter and makes a great spread on bagels. The garlic olive oil paste will keep for at least 3 months in the fridge as garlic has immense anti-bacterial / anti-mold properties so the garlic / olive oil paste won't spoil either.
