This was an hour well spent. Killer overview of this product, IMO. I had no experience with OutSystems and watched this to give me an overview.

This is good stuff and I understand it works at certain extent to address business needs with speed and accuracy. One question I quite want to understand is whether it's useful for data analytics where disparate data sources need to be grouped together and how the solution would be able to answer these questions: * How can we overcome the problems which become apparent when data from distinct sources are combined? * How do we create the possibility of reasoning with data from different sources? Thanks!

I noticed once you had deployed once and then changed something the green circle went to blue indicating immediately there was now a difference between the deployed version and local development version, good feature. Can I ask about being able to build SQL queries in the interface? Also, if using the personal\free edition, can we and how difficult is it to swap out entire projects?

And I access Users Management, It shows notify "Upgrade to manage IT users roles and permissions..." I don't know that my account need to upgrade PREMIUM to deploy the application, do I ?

Hi I have gone through all your videos Its great knowledge you are providing. Can you guys make a video on some of the best practices provided by out system related to security of app, though the documentation of out system 11 has much knowledge around it but a visual video is of a great knowledge indeed.

Great video. Was curious to find out if Outsystems is storing a copy of the same users when you connect to the external IdP (in this case Auth0)? Or is it the user list completely managed externally in this example.

Thanks for sharing, I am interested in outsystems for new projects, it exceeds my expectations as a fast and visually friendly development tool. When evaluating other tools, outsystems has a lot to offer. (excuse my translation)

Great video! would love a slower one next time if you can. I know it's impressive you can do that in 15 minutes but I found myself pausing a ton and wondering why you did certain things. Keep it up!

Low code frameworks are only really good at building very simple applications if you want to spend a ton of money.. any sort of customizations or complex work is very difficult with any of these platforms. So expect to pay $5k USD a year for what is basically a simple app. Most of these apps will save a few hours of work at an extremely high price point, so it is completely not worth it IMHO from a developer standpoint. You would be better off using free code generators and avoid the vendor lock in.
