Hi i'm Jason, I am testing my new fancy pants canon M50 with the 15-45mm kit lens that it comes with, all on auto video settings because I'm lazy and just to show you the kind of footage it is capable of straight out the box. Just on my way to meet my friend Emmi and we're off for a walk in some nice scenic woods in Wrexham, North Wales, UK. I've added some transitions which is why you're probably feeling a bit sick right now which I'll link to in the description
Switching to the Canon EOS M50 now, here is myself and Emmi age 5 having a wonderful time
This is set at full HD 1080p, on auto mode with no colour correction or LUTS. I chose 50fps so that I have the option to put some slow motion in post.
The tap focus works great and you get a lovely depth of field on the kit lens
Strutting your stuff is essential in this area to show you're a confident person to warn off the half-man-half-horse people before going through the hilariously squeeky gate.
That's me and my ginger facial contraception. The camera is really light and the digital image stability works great for hand held panning. Emmi is right at home on this terrain, probably should have skipped the breakfast tequilas. And some wellys might have been a wise move. You can see the fluctuating exposure here as the camera compensates for the changing lighting. Nervous sheep in the background there - he has every right to be, I am a Welsh man.
Here's a friendly chap and his pointy dog we bumped in to, we chatted for half an hour, said our goodbyes then proceeded to walk in the same direction for the next 10 minutes which is basically my nightmare
We don't have a lot of natural predators in the UK, but what we do have is a lot of nettles. Be careful of them
Lovely depth of field again trying to be all arty.

As you can see I don't make any money out of UA-cam otherwise I could afford some shoes without holes in

She's pretty livid at this point with the wet feet and everything so a few final thoughts - obviously it's better to use manual mode but as a quick tester you can see the camera does a half decent job on auto, the colours are quite nice, the auto focus has you covered and you can just point and shoot
