In an ideal world we’d like this to encourage people to get out fishing more or even better take it up, the mental health benefits and community created by our sport is astonishing.
I also hope it in turn it makes people realise what awsome sea life we have off our shores and makes people think it’s something worth protecting and encourages conversations on conservation and the protection of biodiversity
Last of all thank you to all who have subscribed, the more that do, the bigger audience we reach and the more we can give back to the angling community.

Hi Sam, great video. didnt even think about fishing down there. I live at Waldringfield Heath. Whereabouts do you park or walk through to get to that place?
Why do all thd you tube anglers drag fish up the beach or shingle instead of walking down to the water line.
great video but please think about life jackets, x
what a lovely upload reminds me so much of our family outings before cancer cut short our beach fishing the beach always feels empty without your wife keep them coming stirred so many happy memories thank you
I’ve been pinched by one before and it was insanely painful
nice fish
Excellent catch well done
Nice
Stonker
Good few fish there
Bit wet mate
Lolol
🤦♂️
😂😂😂😂😂
Was fairly stupid of me
Good fishing and the world's best football shirt 👍
Don’t usually cut about in a replica kit but it has to be done on holiday 😂 cheers mate
@@northseaangling2531 you gained my sub. COYB
COYB and thank you very much
Brilliant bro!!!
Cheers mate
👍 boat looked 👌 aswell
Was a great charter to be honest, probably the best I’ve been on, spacious, lovely area and loads of species caught
Well done mate 👍 lovely bass 👌👊🎣
Thank you mate, tasted alright aswell
Well done mate 👍 and some great company 👌🔝💪👊🎣
Thanks mate, was a fun little session
Great spot for lrf fishing, it’s a little hidden paradise, some of the old stones piers around Felixstowe can produce the same
Yeah I’ve heard that, saw people catching gobies and blennies down there and heard of people using floats to get wrasse aswell but haven’t seen it personally
Never seen the North Sea that clear as in the opening clip, great session 😊
Thanks mate, and I know it took me by surprise aswell, thanks for watching
Great family fishing video, some stunning fish too. I'm in Suffolk next week and you've inspired me to bring my LRF gear and give Lowestoft a go.
Bit of lug of rag on size 4 or smaller hooks straight down the side of the pier and you’ll catch mate :) thanks for watching & the comment mate :)
@@northseaangling2531 thanks for the info. I'll be giving some soft plastic lures and isome a go...... proper LRF, but I'll have some bait as back up...... cheers
Best of luck mate, bait as back up is a good idea as our water probably won’t stay this clear for very long :)
Absolutely stunning looking fish mate, well done, great video
Few that certainly were funky looking
@@northseaangling2531 good session though, and as if you got bait juice on your mrs? 😂😂
Yeah I thought she took it well to be fair to her
@@northseaangling2531 your telling me, I’d be sleeping outside after that mate 😂
Thought I was going to be to be honest mate, but no good on her for seeing the funny side

👌
Nice bit of family fishing mate 🎣
Thanks mate, cool to see some of the more unusual species off our coast aswell
Well done mate 👏 you're a pure fisherman 😮
Well done mate
Thank you very much mate
good catch , well done
Thank you very much mate, might call it undersized & flurry, but thanks anyway mate
😂😂😂😂
what a cracker mate wow that water looks canny it looks like chocolate milk where i live atm
😂 usually does here, when it’s still & sunny, you get the odd nice occasion with good clarity
Good water clarity for our rivers there !
Not always that clear, but does usually seem better in the creek
@@northseaangling2531 get yourself down there whilst it’s clear, never seen you do any spinning, could make a good video?
Not really but want to give it a go hunting mullet in a similar spot tbh
No way, that’s Awsome, seen them in close but never thought to try that!
You may have to give it a go next time :)
@@northseaangling2531 knowing my luck, i’d get stuck
Definately suggest a good pair of waders instead of wellies anywhere near me
Great video mate
Thanks as always
Great video
Cheers lad
Lovely stuff Sam - those drone shots are brilliant! I always 'dread' to think how many bass live in the Deben - where do they all go at low tide?!?!
Well you still catch them at low tide, so I’m guessing wherever there’s deeper spots of water, could be worth looking for deeper holes around walderingfield and hitting them at low tide?
Good footage, and I agree with your assessment of your bass holding ability! I fish the river a lot from Tidemill, no idea you could dig your own bait. Happy to take you out boat fishing if you're interested. Know Kysons Point well. Deep water but never caught big bass. Have had a Ray a bit further down at Merthergate Quay so that's worth a try ( if you can get there). Great drone footage as well.
Hell yeah I’m interested, you provide the boat, il provide the bait, sound good? :)
@@northseaangling2531 win win!
Awsome mate happy to sort it out, do you have me on social media?
@@northseaangling2531 dont think so
@@lensouth Sam de la rue, send me a message and lets go get some bass!!!!!!!!
flounder is a very nice fish to take for the table mate ive had two 37cms and my current pb is 2.25 lb and 41cms caught them on peeler crab, prawn and mackerel before funnily enough ive never tried the norm of worm before lol. keep up the good work mate nice fishing session fingers crossed for you get yourself a big bass in future
I find worm the best bait for them :) and there a lot of good size bass round here, so sure il get another in size soon :)
Awsome vid as always mate
Cheers mate
Your big dog fish was a bull huss👍 look at the nasal flaps😁
Right thanks for pointing out il re watch and check now
Good vid by the way and a good day/night's fishing,
@@waynea9646 I still think it’s a dogfish looking at it, presume you mean the first doggie caught? 😊
@@waynea9646 thank you very much mate, il try to get some more up soon, and I’m guessing you meant the second one at night?
Some great footage at SS.
Thanks mate, it’s not a bad mark for fishing or scenery is it to be fair?
@@northseaangling2531 definitely one of my favourite venues but can be very hit and miss.
Bawdsey has been very good this year aswell from reports and my experience aswell
Some lovely releases in there
Thanks mate, always love releasing doggies, find they swim so elegantly
@@northseaangling2531 almost snake like
Still prefer the ray releases though
Nice video Sam, I like the look of those features for a bit of lure fishing when the water is a bit clearer.
My mate had a go there in the river with some success so could well be worth a try :)
Good video well done 👏 ✔️ 👍
Thank you very much mate
Awsome fishing buddy!
Thanks, was a good day for sure
Hi there Sam nice skate did you take it home m8
Left the skate, just took the bass home with a whiting, was more than enough there for a few of us
Brilliant mate and fair play to you for cleaning up
Cheers mate, don’t want all anglers getting a bad name tbh
Awesome Sam - top angling dude. Love the drone shots and cook up at the end! :)
Cheers mate, yeah bawdsey and Woodbridge kind of lend them selves to drone shots :)
Another great video Sam. Respect for you clearing up after those scumbags leaving that beach in that state. That really boils my piss. It's the sign of a caring angler when they leave the beach cleaner than when they arrived 👋👋👋
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video :) was a great session but yeah was disappointing to see, as I said, I understand if one bit of rubbish blows away and you can’t catch it, but that clearly was all just left :/
I know your a smaller channel than other channels that talk about the oceans/seas but don't give up, I know you will make it to be famous, Thanks for having this channel, I love the oceans/seas ❤
Very kind of you, only a bit of fun, don’t need to be famous
Hi mate good morning, can you tell me the direction we're you are. Love to dig some fresh lugs thanks mate
And we're to park
hi mate most of the rivers in suffolk/ east anglia, you can find them best i can suggest is go out and look for casts yourself and try to avoid already heavily dug areas :) hope this help
They are not codling try are pin whiting they haven't got same colours of cod and also no beard which is a cert for codling
yes im aware some were whiting but the codling all had barbles mate :) i do know the difference
Please don't hold fish by their jaw it's paramount to their life's and wrong no matter what the size. And the 3rd small codlin was a whiting without doubt
@@Auqalunganglerabsolutely agree and none of them was codling so he clearly doesn't know they difference and that's why he probably held them by the mouth as no beard
il take the holding them by the mouth comment in mind for the future, thanks for commemting :)
i know the difference mate, ive been catching pins far too frequently not to know what pin whiting are but thanks for trying to help educate 😂
no thanks ill stick to a splashdown and elastic wrap around !!!!
generally what i do mate, havent tried the bait capsules so cant comment but people seem to speak highly of them
