❓Q: ❓in this printer, when it prints in multicolor, does it do 1 color at a time per layer? I was thinking of adding 1-2 color only on some layers and starting and ending with different colors to reduce pooping. ie. in minies having a green grass base, but not having any other greens.
@stravelakis it could it goes off of the stl and g code so of the stl has 1 color per layer line than that is what it will do, however just so you know that will take forever
@@fpvbuilds2023 so if the line is interrupted, ( I might put in 10 same minies on the same printjob), it will print each minie's layer's colors, and then go to the next making at least 10 color changes to print 1 layer with 2 colors?
@stravelakis being completely honest I have not tried what you are talking about however I guess it would all depend on the gcode, when I print multi color now it seems to do a bunch of the same color At a time and then switch to the next color.
Do you have parts for Dynam planes?
@@nolavigil5117 we have an order of parts coming in feel free to message me via our website with any specific needs and I will see what I can do for you
Alright, so there are always security concerns with any device that's capable of connecting to the internet. I respect your opinion that you have those concern s about bambu, but those concerns should also be towards anycubic. The software for the Kobra 2 series had a severe exploit with unsecured api access points to control the printers, you've probably already heard about it. I'm not trying to say your opinions are invalid but just that you should have concerns about other devices and not buy them because of it. I apologize if I come off rude, have a great day.
@Alex-k5e8p thanks for your comment and opinion, I am aware of the anycubic issue, however the anycubic printers don't require an internet connection to set or use, even updated can be downloaded via micro sd or USB, I think bamboo has done an amazing job shaking up the market and alot of people love their machines, I am just trying to offer a different perspective.
That's so cool! Thanks for sharing!!
I just got mine and it’s great if you want better quality for the boat it 43 minutes but for fast but still grate quality it’s 15 it is really fast
@@steam_man3765 thanks for watching !
From what I've read you can link 2 Ace Pro units together to get 8 color prints and they might expand it to link more later on.
@@cruisinsixothree3960 yes right now it is two units I have another ace unit on the way so I can try it
Is it true these anycubic multi colour printers create twice as much "poop" as a bambu?
I think its comparable
I freaking love mine. Have printed more in the last 2 days than I have in the past year.
@@thatpspguy its a great little machine !
Yes sir! we back😅 just subscribed come check out my channel some time my friend!
Clickbait
why?
Bambu killer 😂😂 what a joke
@@williampetzer4540 i am guessing you didnt notice the questions marks behind killer?
Anycubic is rubbish and you have no idea of what you talking about Dji is a great company and run well. I have a few of the drones well put together and very well-made. As far as printers go, I’ve had two Anycubic printers and they both gave me problems constantly and the customer services crap. People should stop comparing this printer to the bamboo lab
@@williampetzer4540 unfortunately it is a comparable printer due to its speed and ace system, i never said dji didnt make good drones i just said i dont like them, i build and fly my own drones so i am able to speak on my issues with dji, also i have 8 anycubic printers running kn a print farm and i have not had any issues with any of them other than a nozzle swap.
you should be able to adjust the purge volume to reduce waste as well.
Thanks to this machine, most of Bambu's lineup is cheaper. Competition is great for our pockets.
@@archemity agreed!!! Compétition is great
3d printer companies always release their products before they are ready. It still has a long ways to go on the software side, which they will drop support by next year when they released another not ready to be released product. At least bwmbulab will support their printers for years to come. With their kobra 2 pro, they locked the firmware which made you use their app and slicer. I'm not going to go through that again.
@@oneanother1 thats not true, i have the kobra 2 and i dont use their slicer or firmware, i use prusia slicer and cura, the kobra 3 is the first time i have used thier firmware and its actuallu not that bad i will say it does still need some work though.
The plane gave the impression of being under speed with the flaps extended, it was swinging from one wing to the other. With the flaps retracted, it was better, it may be necessary to add a little exponential on the roll.
@@patricehonvault2612 thanks for watching and thanks for the tip
Cool video, Anthony.
@@rafaeltorres2886 thank you!
I recommend changing the thumbnail of your video, I was looking for reviews of the Kobra 3 this week and it was difficult since your thumbnail does not show the printer as such
@@gadoneitor15 thanks for the heads up!
the only thing going for the ACE is that it will be integrated into their other printers but far from a bambu killer. their software lacks.
no game changer at all. it's garbage
@@bellot1 do you own it?
Very bold statement "Bambu Killer" seeing you don't own a bambu labs printer.
@@Auzze statements have a period or exclamation point at the end of the sentence, my sentence has a questionmark ???
Good overview, but some bias. Some fact checking: You can print with bambu printers offline; it's called LAN mode. It only uses your local wifi, or you can just print with the SD card. Your security concerns are unfounded, and unnecessary fear mongering. With the A1 you can buy individual nozzles, they don't seem to be available for the kobra 3. You compared the kobra 3 to the X1c; not very fair to kobra 3. The X1c can print materials like nylon, ABS, ASA, polycarbonate, and has an active carbon filter for those materials. There's obviously a bunch of software differences as well; I'm not sure how the kobra 3 handles it, but with the A1 AMS lite, you can have it move from one spool to the next if they're the same color and the first runs out of filament. I like that the ACE can dry filament, but it's only really suitable for PLA or TPU; anything else requires higher than 55c; I print with a lot of PETG and that dries at 65c. My own take on the kobra 3 combo is that their color unit is nicer than the bambu, but the printer is not nearly as well-tuned as the A1. It's good, just not great. Not even remotely close to a "bambu killer". Reliability, ease of use and user experience are all areas that bambu focused on that the other manufacturers are still playing catch-up on. I have two A1s and an A1 mini and have had zero issues with any of them, and zero tinkering or tuning; just adjusting slicer settings for the filament being used, changing nozzles for different materials like carbon fiber PETG and it's off to the races. Like I said in another comment, I'm glad so many other companies are chasing bambu's success, that's better for all of us who use the printers, they just need to fine-tune all aspects of owning a 3d printer; making decent hardware is easy enough, but on its own it's not enough. I'm looking forward to the creality K2. If you'll compare a bambu printer, the A1 would be a direct comparison.
@@NWGR thanks for the long well thought out comment, my security concerns are valid though, other creators have covered this and you can do your owm research on the information, if you dont hook up the bambu machine to the internet then it wont ever update. Again everyone is entitled to thier own opinions, the title is more about the price than anything when comparing machines.
@@fpvbuilds2023 Well I mean, even when directly comparing the kobra 3 combo to the a1 combo, the price difference is marginal; $40 right now, and when neither are on sale, that difference drops to only $10. Believe me, I've done plenty of research on all the privacy concerns because it was something I worried about as well, and by and large, they're unfounded and typical "they're watching" fear mongering. For the vast majority of users, none of that will have any effect on actual usage, even in print farm applications. And like I said, you can print without ever connecting online, and you connect just to update the fw and then go right back offline. The whole privacy things is overblown, especially for something like a 3d printer, when there's all these data-leeching apps we use every single day, multiple times over. So again, the kobra 3 is a very competent competitor to the bambu A1, it's just a bit behind in some areas. They did nail the ACE though; that's a really nice setup and better than bambu's AMS lite. I'm all for competition, but for me to switch or consider another brand, there needs to be a better reason than "they're not bambu".
Bambu killer??? Absolutely NOT. Got X1C's A1's (not the mini) and the Kobra 3,... The Kobra 3 is really NOT better...
I almost preordered one of these. I really want to do multi-material printing, but I don't want more than one ecosystem. I already have Creality K1C and K1 Max.
@@777Thibs sell one of the creality machines and buy one of these, it is worth it.
Sell the K1C and get the K2 if you want to stay with the Creality ecosystem. They launched the K2 and have their own multi-material system. I have a Creality CR-30, a Sovol SV07+, and my Kobra 3 should be here today.

@@Saltmancer thanks for watching !
Thank you for the review, I almost bought an older version of anycubic a couple times. The dryer function is cool, I am looking at designing a mod for my current AMS for that. I am interested in how multi color prints on cardboard spools work over time, bambu chokes on cardboard in the AMS. But wow what is with the Bambu hate club? I am coming from really old qidi and longer printers i bought a P1S combo. You could probably call me a fan boy now, but that is just because I can print stuff fast, and easy, I am not spending all my time upgrading just trying to get a decent print or get hair faster than molasses pours. Bambu is just FAST, really really good prints, problem free it just works, the remote app and other things are unbelievably handy. I have printed 10x the stuff with my p1s compared to the years with my others, its crazy better. I am currently printing a 6ft STARGATE that i would never consider on my other printers, because it would take probably 6 months or more to finish and not look as good.
Bambu has now worries!
Left ear loved it

I watch videos with only the right earcup, so I thought everything after the intro was silent.
Not quite there yet. As much as I love to see progress and innovation, this is in no way a "Bambu Labs killer." So many glaring issues just with the placement of ports alone.
Yep. Bambu definitely gave the industry a kick squarely and firmly in the arse and now they're all scrambling to catch up. This is great for consumers. The problem is that all these other companies are scrambling, so design flaws make it to the final product, the products end up rushed to market, firmware bugs, etc.
@@modestcody123 everyone keep seeming to miss the ??? After the bambu lab killer
