Thank you for the detailed walkthrough! EBF series have been one my favorites since I saw it in ArmorGames. A while back, I remembered that the final room was something that I thought to be untouchable since the grind was too tough for me. Several times, I want to spoil myself and see what is inside the room but I always resisted the urge because I know I will not have the motivation to finish the game. This year I have tried to make it a mission to finish EBF5 and get all the medals and today I have successfully done it using your videos!

Im doing a run with only 5 challenges, no grinding, extra hp, dmg, lose turn on revive, and even levelling, its a massive step up from base epic difficulty, in all my other runs i only ever had to made encounter specific loadouts maybe 4 times, but now almost every single encounter needs a specialized loadout, even fodder enemies, it's brutal Even leveling was added because I noticed with No Grinding active the game seems to give you just barely enough xp to push one more level before important fights, and not having Even Leveling on just made encounters more rng reliant and frustrating when even a single fodder enemy is still strong enough to one shot a party member

My strategy is just abusing Defend, Fairy, The One Ring, and the Cube that heals you and buffs your HP by 50% when revived. I usually just always defend and only attack until I passively received the Auto-Revive lol. Took a long time since I also had A.C.E.

for the least HP character, I found Noleg arena the easiest of them all. I can beat it without changing equipment and with just his own skills. Pixel popper, the space hat, that armor that buff you when your hp get low, revive flair, regen flair and the brave paint flair Nolegs evade most attacks and pixel popper just sweep everything by alternate the AOE and the strong single target attack.

Comparing the drawing style of slimes in EBF1 and in EBF5 I can say that there was a regress in one detail: in EBF1 slimes were transparent and in EBF5 they weren't

Snowflake epic is pretty easy with the right gear. He isn't immune to cursed, weaken or tired, so focus on debuffing him using those effect at the start. Lance with soul pistol and cursed flair work well, he can inflict both cursed and weaken while also being a tank. Gaia bloom to make him tired, and since Snowflake has a huge weakness of not being able to dispel or buff himself, he you can force him to fight with half his stats. This also make snowflake very easy to capture, stacking 6 debuff and 5 effect and he can be captured at around 35% hp.

The first secret boss you fought has to be the only boss that i started crying from fear when fighting it not because of the crash screen but the fact that everything is so messed up

Congrats, Dev ACE is not an easy task especially with all remixes (except player changers) enabled.

The pumpkus fight becomes way too difficult on ACE without morale, so its kinda funny seeing how easy this is as my brain is still wired differently due to that.
