Hi, I can't find any kits available so I will buy one assembled. I want to swap out the regular LEDs for 2-colour (bi-polar? bi-directional?) when I receive it. Do I need to change any other components to do that, like current limiting resistors or anything. I google and I see 3 leg and 2 leg versions, so I guess I need the two leg version - what voltage LED would I get? Hope you can help!!! Great video, especially the cake :) I do that for breakfast too!

What was your value for the resistor in space R7? Notes with ver3 BOM states that it was 150k then changed to 220k, my pre packaged kit came with a 330k resistor for R7. I had a spare 220k and went with that on my build.

so much NLC! these are all great. my bipolar LEDs on this one are a little dim but i can't be bothered to change the resistors. you can actually get some pretty mean sounds out of the hypster just as an oscillator

you're living on the edge opening those SMD strips like that hahaha - I've only done it that way once, and all the components flew across the room :)

Try the wool type to clean your iron tip, works 100 times better. Also try to find smaller wire, it's a lot easier with it to avoid solder blobs. Heat the pad and the component before putting your solder on it, not the reverse.
