Yeah I was on the range for hours with that gun. I just included some of the footage because no one is interested in watching 3 hours of malfunction drills and cursing. I spent a couple hundred dollars on ammo plus $1,000 on the gun . Plus my time. Just trying to save everyone else the aggravation and expense.

Number one , I got rid of that thing. Number two, if you pay $1,000 dollars for a gun ,you shouldn't have to pay another company to do it right. And let's not forget the crap red dot that they put on it. I'm starting to think you work for Girsan or EAA . Either way, agree to disagree.

first of all genuinely watched your videos two not a schill three don’t act that way towards people and four be kind towards your people because we are the reasons why you are on here in the first place. now i’ve watched all your videos on this a couple times. me personally i would’ve changed all internals of the gun from the gate but that’s just me im a tinkerer. i think the gun is great imo but some people get bad ones just the way it is. i’ve sent my nh custom agent 2 in several times and it’s just now functioning right. sometimes it’s just luck of the draw. i have six 2311 in all calibers. two i sent to cosaint to get done. but never had any issues shooting high end ammo out of them. i dont buy low end or affordable ammo as i own a lot of high end and dont want the qc issues the lesser ammo companies have. sorry you had issues with yours.

I'm not trying to be ugly. I'm just trying to point out that mine was a dumpster fire. The gun never did reliably extract rounds. That's after several hundred rounds and a warranty repair. This was an issue out of the box. It didn't break. It arrived jacked up. The red dot wasn't just an off brand that failed. They tell you in their owners manual that it's only rated up to 9mm but then they attach it to a 10mm pistol. There is more than one issue here. Definitely not the ammo. I traded it in on a FN 510 and it fed all of the same ammo without issue,so does my Grand Power P40 , Glock G29 and Glock G40. Anyway, I wasn't meaning to be harsh. Agree to disagree. Been doing it for years. Absolutely no issues. Besides,it doesn't like the 10mm it was made for. And again, this is an issue A LOT of people are having with this gun. I have shot well over 500 rounds through it. Speer,Blazer Brass and aluminum, Winchester, Federal,Fiocchi,Armscor, Underwood, etc. Different bullet weights, fmj and hollow points. Even after the factory "fixed" it ,the same issues are there.

I experienced the same failures with MULTIPLE brands and types of ammo , both fmj and jhp. All factory loaded major brands . Several other people,most notably Honest Outlaw, have had the exact same issues. It's the gun.

I prefer to use G17 mags because of the magwell.

@@WaywardSonCustom Ditto. I love this handgun and shoot it better than some of the more expensive ones out there. The PMAG 15's work very well and I haven't had any issues with them at the range.

Yeah, I really think it's a great budget option. I think you get a lot for your money.

It's the grip texture. To me it feels a bit more aggressive. It may just be in my mind but that is what I meant. Also, I like the way the compact and full size 2.0 pistols feel in hand but not the Shield. The Shield grip is more rounded. When I speak of the grips and how they feel, these are most likely the things that I am referring to. Thanks for watching.

Based on mine, yes. Mine is accurate, comfortable to shoot, and has been reliable with 350 rounds shot through it. It is also extremely budget friendly.

I can agree with you on all of that. For me, the only negative for Seecamp has been the price point. I personally feel that they are a little overpriced. That being said, they are good guns.

Have you tried contacting Derya directly. Since RIA is just the importer, they may not be of much help Derya is the actual manufacturer. Please let me know how things go. So far, I have 300 rounds through mine without any issues. Thanks for watching.

Same here w/ mines. I think the slides on some aren't the newer model ones. The Safety fire pin spring & extractor should show like a normal G19 gen 4 model does. But some of these DY9's aren't what the online stores are showing. I'm going to reach out to Derya & see if I can get a new complete slide done the RIGHT way.

Yeah, it's only been somewhat recently that I've heard people complain. I just know that I have owned a lot of Kimbers over the years and have never had an issue of any kind. My experience has been that they are good looking,well made, accurate, reliable guns.

@WaywardSonCustom I'm still thinking about buying that m&p compact comp. I'm conflicted about it because you can buy the regular optics ready compact and throw in an apex trigger kit for the same price. I wish they made that same exact version but without the actual comp lol. I like the improved slide and trigger but I hate having holes on the barrel and slide with a ccw. It's a difficult decision lol. Do you think that the compact comp is worth buying? Do you notice a real difference in recoil?

I have shot both the Carry Comp and the PC 2.0 . I hands down prefer the Carry Comp. The Ergos are the same,less recoil/flatter shooting,same great trigger, OR,etc. If you're that opposed to porting , you could probably buy the Carry Comp and throw a standard barrel in it.

The groups were good and shot placement was good enough to make a bad guy regret being bad. Personally, I'm satisfied with it for a first range session. Thanks for watching.

It's easy to shoot left with smaller options when you have bigger hands. I did the same thing with the p365. It's not like the bullet is magically turning left out of the barrel lol. It's his hand size that's causing that issue. A person with tiny hands wouldn't be shooting left with the bodyguard 2.0.

I've only really had an issue with the Shield . They just don't feel good in my hand. One departure from the standard ergos is that they added more texture to the grip. I haven't shot the Shield Plus Carry Comp yet but, it might change my mind about the Shield lineup. I guess we'll see. Thanks for watching.

G19 grip length but the large magwell causes the G19 mags to all but disappear. With the magwell attached, G17 mags look flush fit even though they aren't. So , basically with magwell attached you can easily run it like a G19X or G19 . Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
