My brother told me Peter Lorimer passed away. I remember him because I was a Toronto Blizzard fan and went to every game. Time flies bye. He was a great player. I remember in 1979 we got knocked out by the New York Cosmos, Beckenbauer, Seninho, Chinaglia and Carlos Alberto. Eusebio was playing for Toronto Metros Croatia in 1976 because at Benfica he was only making 150 pounds a week !

Indeed. Of all the ex-Leeds players I came across, he was the most generous with his time. He came to my Leeds United quite frequently and I had no qualms about giving him free tickets for his family and friends (and raffles) who all came to the show on the back of Peter's recommendation. It was my small token for all the goals and joy he brought to my professional journalistic career.

Allan Clarke and that white kit did it for me as a kid and I've followed Leeds ever since and still a S/T holder and I'm not from Leeds, Allan will always be my biggest hero thankyou Sniffer.

It was a joy to make and meet some of my boyhood heroes. To discover they were very down to earth and normal was like gold. Ultimately they like my friends, easy to talk to and generous about their experiences at Elland Road.

Bobby was a lovely and amenable chap. The location for the interview was all last minute and yet he waited for the equipment to arrive. In that time I was able just to chat with him about football and coaching. CAme over as genuine and interesting so I hope the move to the south coast worked out for him.

Allan Clarke was idolised by many of us back in Lancs in the 70s ...and I mean idolised. Brilliant player.

Alan was a really nice bloke and invited me into his home in Scunthorpe to do the interview. He could have gone on for hours with great stories of the 70s and 80s football.

As a Coventry fan I remember the good old days with young Noel Whelan. A great guy.

Listen to me I have a ham license and am a electronic technician. No radio receiver or transmitter can work enclosed in a metallic conductive enclosure. It is known as a Faraday Cage. Unless your bike is made from carbon fiber or a nonconductive metal (aluminum or steel), this sucker will not work hidden inside a metal enclosure, where he just put it. Like to poster said this is a prototype, not a know working customer proven device.

It's stalled somewhat. Plenty of retailers were interested and it even sparked a buyers database to prove ownership of purchase. The model I made as a prototype couldn't be sourced for parts to bring down the price to under £10. Still looking for investment and technical know-how.
