Diving in Cancun with Dive it at Ocean Coral and Turquesa
I don't know why but that sound gives me goosebumps now that I learned the effects that can happen to a organism under it
0:51 you can even still hear it if you put your volume up
About how far away was the source?
God save their eardrums
“Con, Sonar - we are cavitating!”
Scary! Accept Jesus :)
Timestamp 0:46 YOURE WLECOME..
Germans: Sie sind im Wasser
If that has been a full size military sub, that sonar would have FUCKED those people up.
Yeah and the navy claims it has nothing to do with mass strandings
sound polution and light polution are problems only man can fix
They are lucky to even be alive from estimates they were in the fuckin Goldilocks of the sonar ping to be able to hear it without being killed by it.any closer and they are as good as a blob fish on land
Thats a pasive sonar rght?
Probably just testing out of water, but it’s worth noting that sonar is EXTREMELY dangerous, not kidding that will literally turn your brain to mush
Hearing something that can hurt your ears underwater is what tells me to get the fuck out of the water
Did you get hurt from this?
@@twentysixbit no just startled.
American and Chinese supersonars are killing whales and other mamals ,including old human mutants ,tritons and sirens. Ws //military analyst Order of the Temple
More like SQS-53 sonar, used by destroyers and cruisers
everyone gangsta until the submarine sonar picks up your location
Black Ops 1 Alex Mason sound
At 1:50 is that the sound of ship propellers ?
i hope these guys' ears are fine, because this tech uses (usually) ultrasounds, with enormous amount of amplitude. (from 12kHz to 700kHz) (i was bored so i tried to calculate the sea's depth where these scuba divers were) because the sonar was coherent, i'll suppose this frequency was 12kHz (i just kind of randomly picked this value, i dont have perfect pitch), the sonar was subtly heard again after ~7 seconds. wave speed under sea water: 1500 m/s wave speed = {2 × depth} / delay {2 × depth} = (wave speed) × delay depth = { (wave speed) × delay } ÷ 2 = ( 1500 × 7 ) ÷ 2 = 5250 meters. these scuba divers chose a 5000-meter deep sea.
Stunning Vis 😍
@@SaltySeaQueen-nn8wm gotta love Nassau.
Its amazing how I NEVER dove and I still am 100 percent certain that this was not a submarine. Divers dont seem very intelligent at all

"The fuck was that?" Literally every marine creature ever since humans got sonar
My dog did notttt like that ping!
you guys are lucky you weren’t closer
I heard this can actually be fatal if you’re close enough to it.. not sure if that’s actually true or not?
"ble bluck blus blat"
they're lucky they werent closer a sonar from submarines can be heard for hundreds of miles underwater and if your within even a mile it can kill you and fry your body.
Thats a surface ship. Don't want to be swimming around that. My ship (a DDG) in Norfolk turned on theirs when tbere was an active swimmer in the port trying to get close to us and not leaving. It killed him
Just to make sure yall understand. Take the sounds you just heard and multiply by 10. Thats what the divers actually heard. Underwater mics thend to somewhat silence loud noises and especially high frequency noises
According to people in the internet, sonar can kill your if you hear it in the ocean, so I goes everyone here is a ghost.
Nothing but Clickbait from this channel there was no submarine. That’s not what it sounds like. It was all fake reported as spam and unsubscribed.
Dude hearing it echo just reminds me of the scary thought that the ocean is mostly just a vast, dark void with tiny humans resorting to sound to map out its depths for other tiny humans that may be trying to hurt them.
As an ex-diver, experiencing transmitted sounds of all kinds is quite a weird experience. Quite unlike the way we hear them through the medium of air. It travels a lot faster in water and you get virtually no sense of direction from it.
Must be near Andros island bahamas.
Im not sure its a good idea using headphones for this. The sound is really high pitched. I still feel it 5 minutes after.
1:29 Shark: "Can I help you boss? Why are you in my living room?"
Ppl don't get how actually insanely powerful and loud sonars are. If by any random chance a person is close to a sub or ship sonar when it fires, that can be very dangerous. Poor whales lol
How did the microphone record such an audio ? Like it sounds so much like « underwater » usually it sounds nothing like the real sounds you hear with your head underwater. Minus the sonar ping
That high pitched sound you heard sorry for being late but that was a Military Sonar Ping which makes a loud ping sound to see whats in the water.
Why on earth did I read - Submissive Sonar Skydivers ???
Drugs?
Doubt it's a sub since their whole thing is to be undetectable but the fact you can hear the props of the ship (probably the one using sonar) is crazy how close it is. Civilian sonar probably won't kill you but could give your hearing damage dizziness ect Military sonar is much more powerful (to help find other military ships and subs hundred of miles away) and in close range could kill you
Stilll not louderrr as a fhaterrrr sneez
that is the song of a sonar ping
Do not ho to ocean and sea some sound is scary in submarine
It was a Kaiju mating call. Lucky you made it out alive.
Scary
