Using Fire to Clean Bale Processor (don't try this at home)

This is a try at your own risk method of removing net and twine, I don't mind doing it on this old machine because the paint is all gone anyway, but I don't know that I would try it on a new machine. This clip was actually part of a longer video that I recently posted about feeding hay with this processor, to see that one follow this link: ua-cam.com/video/M6idPgMolXM/v-deo.html

thank you for making a video out in the cold in response to my question! I appreciate it. This unit might be too big for my application, but looks like a solid no-nonsense platform.
You're welcome!
does this tractor have draft control? Thanks
Yes it does. I made a quick short this morning to show the location of all the levers on the platform ua-cam.com/users/shortsuBI6Gql_hWc
Used to run a international harvester hustler skid loader, twin t handles were between the legs.
how much can the loader lift? I need at least 2 tons
This one is rated for 2742 lbs at full height. It takes a pretty big tractor to get above 4000 lb lift. Our 5125 (125 hp) is rated for 3500 lbs and you have to get up to the 6155 (155 hp) for the next step up at 5462 lbs. If you are looking for something more compact you could go with a wheel loader like this: www.wackerneuson.com/us/products/wheel-loaders/wl38-wheel-loader or a Compact track loader like this: ua-cam.com/video/6rCgsPhsnRM/v-deo.html
The door open thing is dumb. It's not going to open with an attachment on it.
That would depend on the attachment I guess. I have seen some attachments that you can't get the door open all the way when they are sitting on the ground. However, most attachments: bucket, brush cutter, broom, snow blade, etc. do not protrude above the quick attach plate and therefore would not interfere with the door.
Its your farm, you just do it your way- and roll on.
That's right. Everyone does it a little different and as long as it works for you there's nothing wrong with that!
I use a 2650 Haybuster. Feed all the time with it. I try to run it over poor ground for seeding and fertilizer for free. It also knocks a lot of the dust out of the bale. I noticed one commenter mentioned losing leaves. I guess that would be a valid issue if feeding alfalfa. We are not blessed with alfalfa in East Tennessee.
The part of the pasture that I am feeding on in this video has had pretty poor fertility. It's all the way to the back and because of snow in the past I have not fed on this area before. I am interested to see how it does this next year.
@ I wish I’d taken pictures of before and after. You will be pleasantly surprised. I’ll be watching!!
Don't do that in Los Angeles......
No kidding!
I don’t know about burning the net wrap.
Yeah, I'm not endorsing it, just showing how I do it. I probably wouldn't if I had a nice new machine.
Worse way on the world to feed round bales knocks all the leaves off just unroll the bale
That could be true when processing legumes, the majority of my hay is straight grass so I am not worried about leaf loss. When I have fed alfalfa or clover this way I have found that the processor makes the stems more palatable and the cattle usually clean the hay up right to the ground knocked off leaves and all! I've always said: "Opinions are like belly buttons. Everyone has one!"
@johnbuck6685 I would beg to differ on being the worst way. We do a lot of dry and wet alfalfa. You get a lot of control as to how big you want the windrow versus unrolling. He leaves that do get knocked off or put into the windrow If you've watched beef cattle eat Alfalfa it doesn't matter if it's chopped or as a whole bail and a feeder they will find a way to get them leaves with eating as little stem as possible
Whereabouts are you located I'm over in Rock Creek A guy isn't complaining about this winter with the cattle other than potential ice slip areas
Hi, we are over in the Upsala area, SW of Little Falls. The lack of snow has made for easy chores so far this year! Thanks for checking in! - Josh
why not just roll the bale? wouldn't need the tractor and implement.
We could... I don't care to unroll a 1000 lb bale by hand, so a tractor and unroller would still be necessary, and at the very least a loader tractor or skid loader to carry the bale out and unroll it. I was able to buy this processor for just a little more than what a 3 point unroller would cost, benefits for me using a processor are 1- I can bring two bales out to the feeding area and save a trip back to the yard. 2- I feel that the cattle eat the processed bale better than a unrolled bale, especially poorer quality bales where it might have tougher stems or have dust that can be knocked out with the processor. 3- The processor is dual purpose for me, I also use it to bed my cattle in the yard.
Some fat healthy looking cattle there, also some beautiful scenery.
Yes, no grain needed on good Wisconsin grass! It was quite picturesque with the fog that morning.
Bery Very interesting Josh!!
Thanks!
At the start of 2023 we bought new the 5 105 deutz we were so happy with it that we ordered the new model 5 105 keyline for 2025 looking forward to it being delivered
That's great! They are nice tractors!
Thank you so much for posting this video!!!!!
I'm glad it was helpful! If there is any other things like this you would like to see let me know and I will try to make a video.
"Such a solid machine! How does the 2000 Case 75XT hold up compared to newer skid steers in terms of performance and reliability? 🚜🔧"
You can't beat these old machines for reliability, they are so much simpler, less to go wrong. Performance wise this machine has plenty of HP @ 75hp, and pretty good lift @ 2200lb, however, newer machines are faster, have better visibility, better access for repairs, the cabs are quieter and more comfortable, and have nice features like 2 speed, air conditioning, and power bucket attach.
@@wollerequipment Awesome insights-thank you!
What’s the price on those units?
The price we sell this model currently, using the free loader program, is $24,250 + tax if applicable.
I like the platform. Also like the simple and reliable design and features! What type of fuel injection pump does it have, common rail or mechanical pump?
Hi thanks for the comments! This engine uses a common rail fuel system, that is part of the reason why we don't have any DEF or REGEN on this model
یہ ٹریکٹر کتنے کا ہے
This is one that we sold about a year ago.
does anyone have jerky 3 pt have one valve replaced on it and same thing
I haven't had any one complain about jerky 3 point. Does it do it up or down?
one of these used to sit near our house quite a while ago, it hadent been in running order in a long time. eventualy my dad sold it to someone who I think he said repaired it for their own uses, love this tractor.
Yep, this one was a beauty!
What did this unit sell for?
We sold it for $12,500
LS are hard to get parts for. They do not support their customers
That is a pretty broad statement... While it is true that some LS Tractor owners have had issues getting their tractors repaired in a timely manor, that has not been the experience of the majority. Most of my customers have had a very positive experience owning an LS Tractor. No matter what brand you buy they all make a pretty good product, and at times they all have some issue with either a poor component, or parts availability. It really comes down to your servicing dealership and how well they try to take care of you.
Is the front 3 point and pto available on the 4 series?
I believe that it is an option on the 4 series, however, they are not currently bringing any set up that way to the US. They do have a 3065 with FH/PTO that is here in the US
Need price
Blu-Jet was acquired by Unverferth who no longer offers a strip till machine under the Blu-Jet brand. They do have one under the Orthman brand www.orthmanequip.com/strip-tillage/1tripr/

THIS VIDEO IS LONGER THAT 1 MINUTE!
You caught me! Occasionally a 360 walk around can take a hair longer than a minute to complete, but it's still not a 20 min walk around so I group them here.
Do you still have this machine?
This one has already sold
Н
136 hp!
what is the length of the PS120 with the loader on it? The brohures dont have it listed. I get that there are like 2 or 3 official loader options but there isnt even a range. Want to know what size trailer we might need for hauling it.
Just measured it up and it is 18' 8" from front of the bucket to the back of the hitch
Good reliable tractor.
And a handy size too
Grew up on a 1967 Oliver gas engine. Good tractor got used for about everything on our farms. It was our big tractor for the longest time.
I always love to hear about the work these older tractors did when they were young!
The platform needs a complete makeover
Interesting comment. What would you change?
I demoed a Qwik Till in tall corn stalk residue. As usual the salesman trying to get you to go 11 mph. As soon as he left I kicked it back down to seven so I could stay in the tractor seat. I saw No difference in the job it was doing between 11 miles an hour and 7 mph. I know guys like to go fast but I don't think it's absolutely necessary regardless of what the literature of the salesman say
I have seen if you go slower it will leave ridges subsurface. The higher speed gives more of a shattering action.
Looks good!
Curious if my backhoe will fit on a mT242H? It is a lb2100. If so give me a call sometime curious on pricing one out without a cab and two rear remotes
They redesigned the backhoe for the new style tractors
Beautiful job but I’ve never understood why people raise the loader way up to do jobs where it’s not necessary
Thanks for the comment! I usually like my loader down, but found the visibility better up while plowing. It is a pretty flat field so I was not worried about tipping the tractor, and I wanted the loader on for the added weight.
What's the cost?
This one sells for $11,900
Josh I think you should have gone into more detail as there’s nothing out there better than this short clip. I’m interested in buying one of these models.
I would be glad to do a deeper look at this tractor, I try to keep these videos short because it seems a lot of people have short attention spans these days! ;) Stay tuned, when I get a chance I'll record a longer version.
And what engine does it have
This has the Yanmar 1.6L
How does this compare to a Kubota L2502?
This would be a very comparable model. I like the dual hydro pedals side by side on the LS
Doesent look like is has the L series "Kubogy/ out front Dangling tie-rod ends". So IT'S A BETTER TRACTOR!
Does'ent look like it has the "L series out front Dangling tie-rod ends". So it IS a MUCH BETTER TRACTOR.
This is amazingly clever but it does take the skill out of the operators hands
That's true, and for some, it's the reason. A non skilled operator can now do some of the tasks that would have required a more skilled operator.
How silly can you get ?
Oh pretty silly! I just sold a mini round baler and will be posting a video of that soon!
Mid PTO available? Would you say this is too heavy of a compact tractor to take on mowing a 3.5 acre property for a couple of years (until i afford a zero-turn)
Mid PTO is available, however LS does not have a mid mower for this model. You would have to go with a 3 point finishing mower. They are not terribly heavy and the tires are fairly large, so I think it would be suitable for mowing a large yard.
The 930 was a better tractor 1030 had to much power diff couldent handle the 105 hp
It seems like there were a few manufactures in that era that had issues with increasing hp without beefing up the drive train.
Hello Mf 210 tractor price you sale and diver pakistan?
I'm sorry, I do not have a MF 210 for sale.
What did this unit sell for?
