59-1511 named 'SQUAWKIN HAWK', using callsign REACH 037, departs from Runway 10 at RAF Mildenhall on the 13/12/24.
59-1511 is transiting back to the US, hence the use of REACH as the callsign.
Apologies for the slight shakiness in the video.

LORAM Class 37 37418 is seen at The Chevin approaching Milford Tunnel with the 0Z28 Newsham to Derby RTC on the 01/11/24. A CrossCountry Voyager is also seen exiting the tunnel. Apologies for the odd clicking sounds, I have been filming with a DSLR as I'm usually a photographer. I was struggling to get the subject in focus.

Wind those speakers up as 37421 and 37425 haul the monthly Longsight to Derby RTC test train over the Buxton line and a few other places. It is seen here passing Chapel-En-Le-Frith. I leave it filming long after they passed as they didn't shut off until the speed reduction for Eaves Tunnel.

44871 makes short work of the climb through Chinley (with a bit of class 57 assistance) hauling the 1Z66 Liverpool Lime street - Scarborough 'The Coast to Coast Express' on the 21/09/2024. Thank goodness that 195 wasn't there a few seconds earlier!
Drax Divert - 60087 through Chinley with a Liverpool to Drax biomass train
Переглядів 4111 місяців тому
With engineering works being carried out on the Transpennine route around new years eve 2023 and new years day 2024. The Liverpool to Drax Biomass trains were diverted on to the Hope Valley Line. Most of the trains were hauled by Class 66's but the odd few were hauled by 60's. The 2000 Tonne trains struggled climbing up towards the summit at Cowburn tunnel, with the locomotives usually at full ...

Turn your speakers up for this one! 37219 37254 make a racket climbing through Chapel-en-le-Frith with the monthly Buxton line NR test train on the 17/02/23. As I'm more of a photographer I don't make many videos personally unless certain circumstances means I have to. I have a link below to my Flickr account as I'm more active there and in case you are interested. The videos uploaded to YT are...
45690 Leander working 'The York Yuletide Express' passing Chinley on the 04/12/21

The weather was awful and made everything look dark, so I decided not to photograph 45690 hauling 'The York Yueltide Express' and instead do a video of it passing Chinley. Leander was working hard at this point on the climb towards the summit in Cowburn Tunnel, with a little bit of Duff assistance after a stop at New Mills South Junction (unsurprisingly!). Apologies if it looks dark, especially...

Turn up the volume as Class 50 50008 Thunderer passes Dore (south of Sheffield) with 16CSVT prowess while hauling 1N66 1534 Carlisle - Derby 'The Return of Thunder Vac' railtour on 27/07/2019. This video is also available on my Flickr page. If you are interested in having a look at my photos too, here is the link: www.flickr.com/people/155334173@N06/
Nice one mate! We were up on the bridge, got the driver prepped for this one’s glad you got a good shot 💪👍
@32AProductions422 Thanks! Top driver! I bet you were glad you didn't wait for the next 37 on the unit drag, iirc it was about 85 minutes late and was stuck behind a stopper train, so no thrash at all!
@ yes mate, as you’ll see on my page, lickey was out next call!
Good on the driver to give it some power 👍
Good thrash on that one!
Considering it's a light engine, it was fairly thrashy! Thanks for watching!
Excellent video
@@barriejowett2412 Thank you!
The sheer fury of that thunderous approach and then flyby on a still night is something to behold. Bloody magnificent!😁
@RichardS-qh8mi Thank you! You could literally hear them coming from miles away, long before I even started recording.
@@adamfox3733 Oustanding recording particularly the sound, it was so crisp and clear you hear the turbos whistling and almost every one of those gigantic pistons firing as clear as day. This is now in my saved top five clips of the mighty 37. I truly miss the heyday of these extraordinary locomotives when they were a common sight right across the country. Used to stand by them as a teenager as they idled at the platform, that perfect rhythm as the governor let them breathe in and out it being almost hypnotic and overwhelming in the sense of their huge presence. Now I suspect I’d only see and hear them on the Sizewell spent fuel run to Sellafield sadly, so not very often these days.
What a fantastic setting to capture a Steam train ! Very atmospheric well done .
Great Hoover video there Adam
Thanks!
like it matey , a better class of machine than those junky 66s eh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You could go back to driving pacers again. I'm sure you would rather stick with what you drive now than them!
