im 50 and i have been skating since 85. can i come over? lol im planning to build a small bowl (about 3 ft in spots). just because of costs and space. i also like that it can be expanded in time which i think is inevitable. looks great man good job bro!

great video! can I ask: for backside air my eternal problem is this - I ride up the wall, reach down to grab the board but this puts pressure down on the board and kills speed. Do you flick board up to you? or is it just an all in one movement?
Hey mate, thanks for the question, I covered this in my Clip week 43. I think the key is to grab the nose before the apex. Have a look over the video and if you are still having problems message me back. 👊👊👊
sick! I'm jealous of folks who live near vert ramps. There was one an hour from me but they rebuilt the park and took it out last summer and I never really got to skate it. Keep ripping!

Nice upgrade from the old Prahran ramp. It's got a very satisfying swish, swish sound and although it's steel it doesn't sound anything like the old steel one. I was watching an old vid of Tony Hawk skatin it just the other day. He's so tall he made it look small lol. We had what I think was a copy of the old Prahran ramp in our town but I think they screwed the coping up a bit. It stuck out a bit further than it should have. The out was more like what the up should of been. So it never really got skated much. Woulda been alright for bump ollies and pre grabs I suppose. So there was that and it was intimidating asf for beginners lol. There was only a couple of guys in town I ever saw drop in on it and skated it any good. The bmx'ers and rollerbladers ending up using it more. Then eventually they cut half of it down into a mini then it got used a bit more. I was never really much of a vert/transition skater anyway. I did drop in on some big 10ft quarters at the old Melb sale yards skatepark at the top of Swanston st though. And I dropped in on a steel mini ramp in Bright with big arse monster truck looking off road wheels on my board. Fun times lol. Well that turned into a bit of a novel😂🤟☠
The new one is sweet, I think there will be some heavy sessions happening here this summer. And looking forward to it. The coping can be the make or break of a vert ramp. Thanks for the info. 👊👊👊

It is steel, and the joints are welded and ground down , so no joints . Super smooth and fast. 😁😁
