Where should i get an alternator? i heard denso is good but almost 300 sheesh should i go with a bit cheaper option on rock auto? 150 im thinking , not really trying to cheap out but are any other brands good out there? Thanks for the vid
I had my alternator rebuild for like $100 but that’s here in souther California
@@erick_myagentThank you ! i ended up ordering one off rockauto new & got a belt too all in total 200 bucks
The one bolt you said is hidden is not....for me it was the back 12mm bolt..what a pain...but good job non the less
Yeah that’s the $700 job bolt the rest is ok
Think quicker. Jack car. Remove under plastic. Remove aux belt. Remove ac compressor. Remove alternator.
You’re right I just didn’t want to spend more money on Freon
@@erick_myagent am I right though. Another video on here also has the job being done from up top. How long did it take ….?
@@jamesbarratt593 took me about 3 hours
@@erick_myagent where are you though. Usa I think. If so your battery on left side of engine. Ok next to alternator on wing what do you have. Fuse box or air box?
@@jamesbarratt593 USA my battery was on the right side next to the firewall so I had some fuses on the way I sold that car already so the new owner saved about $900 dollars on that job
Mira la próxima vez que hagas un video a la de un principio no hagas al último cortado mal hecho

Is of the 58 fwy in Bakersfield going towards Isabella lake
@@erick_myagent nice I live in bakes going to have to go check it out
My car 16 mpg 🤔🤔
After new plugs?
I did mine with the Tone pg86s spark plug socket and extension kit from japan. That, and some ratcheting closed end wrenches makes it possible without lifting the engine.
That’s a good option too
Thanks for your time.
Hope it was helpful
Is this trail close to Bakersfield?I live in Visalia and I can't find alot of Overland trails I'm the Valley like SoCal..
Yes it’s in Bakersfield that’s where you can start and end up next to kern river and if you continue driving you’ll end up at Isabella lake just about 1 mile up ahead or you can start backwards
I am having the same issues, I am in bakersfield, there are a few trails that I know of so far

Si estuvo bien chevere
Well, you probably just saved yourself about $400 bucks. I had them take care of this at the dealership and it cost $417 Lol. They charged 35 bucks a spark plug, and 2.25 hours of labor. They had been in there 100k miles and I really didn't want to break one on the removal and have to deal with so I guess I got what I paid for, but they definitely hit ya in the wallet when they can.
Wow I dealerships try to take all your money away
@@erick_myagent Yup, they sure do.
If You Have The Space, Tools & Patience , I’d Say Do It Yourself But If Not Makes Sense To Bring It In & Price Check Every Where Before Picking A Source. I’m Still Debating On Doing My Subi 2015.
thanks for the great video.
The distance to the chassis rail seems a little closer on my Subaru than yours but I got there in the end by lubing the rubber insert of my 14mm 3/8 socket with dielectric grease and using a very short extension bar..If plugs to the high voltage coils have a metal clip, you need to press it down whilst the connector off at the same time...I might add that a very strong small magnet can be helpful to aid pulling the socket out or the plug from the hole.
I’m glad you made it happen those are helpful hints too
this is just the beginning! TRD PRO is the way to GO! voodoobluetacolife19
Jules Thibodeaux nice pro
What size of tires are those? And is it lifted?
BDevi0us 305/70-16 2 inch lift all around
@@erick_myagent 35s nice! What type of suspension lift to you have and did you have to do a cmc or bmc to get the 35s to fit? Your truck looks nice! I have 2019 trdpro with 33s I also have 2.5" lift I kept the stock fox suspension by doing progressive aal and front shim. No cutting needed to fit 33s
BDevi0us actually all I did was the list and swap to those Falken AT3s it only rubs just a bit on the UCA so I might swap them to some icons that’s my next goal. But other then that is the same Fox suspension, I like the he color of your truck bro it’s clean
BDevi0us but I believe I have 33’ if I’m not mistaken
@@erick_myagent Thanks man! My tires are 285/75/16 bfg ko2s. No rubbing at all on my setup. 88 rotors did the lift on my Taco. They posted the video on UA-cam You should post a video on your setup I'd like to see it
