Hoopoe kicks Honey Guide out of the nest.
Honey Guide made the mistake of entering the Hoopoe's nest. This Hoopoe was not going to take this insult lightly.

Quick fork seal removal
Переглядів 2295 років тому
This video outlines a tip on how to remove a fork seal without stripping the whole fork. Generally if you are doing your seals I suggest you strip and do a proper clean. In this case it was my own bike and I needed it running the next day to go to my day job.

The motor was completely rebuilt with a roller bearing conversion on the cam.
wicked! good stuff dude, the o ring thing is really cool
Thanks Kxyl. Appreciate the input.
Who needs case hardening, it’s just a pain in the butt isn’t it 🤣🤣
Thankyou for reply do u have any idea why it is seeping from the clutch arm
Yes. There is a small seal there. They take a hammering from dirt that lies on top of the seal during clutch movement.
Hi Jack. I am not sure. Most bikes have different mounting methods. If I was in your position I would disconnect the clutch cable and try to remove it like this. You have nothing to lose. Either it comes out or worst case it does not. Sorry I can not help you more.
Can i remove this actuator arm on a pitbike(the same way) i have oil seeping from the actuator arm where it goes into the casing and was wondering if it will work on a pitbike
Dont use on parts that seal things where fuel passes, would just eat up the glue
Yip, I should have said that. Thanks for the add in.
Yes, you can. Good luk with the jb.
Good video I have the klr 600 b of the year 1985 Its the same? and can i change it from outside?
Thanks. Only place I could find a picture or video of what’s behind that seal. I think mine is good to go.
Onde consigo comprar essa cola
É Supa-cola. Também conhecido como Cianoacrilato
Nice video! I have a problem, my actuator arm won’t fit back in, i tryed turning it but it won’t fit.. does anyone know what could it be? Or what should I do?
If you are sitting facing the clutch side cover, make sure the arm head where the cable goes in is pointing to your left shoulder. Push the shaft (actuating arm) down and start rotating it clockwise until it gets to it's normal position. If this does not work pls send me a video of where it is getting stuck so that I can figure out what is wrong for you. I will video me inserting one tomorrow and send it to you. Good luck.
This is just what I needed to know, thank you for your video.
Please, share your ideas and more useful stuff like this.
very nice, i like!
Excellent Idea. Love it.

Hi, I don't know the Noco Genius. Sorry.

Sorry, don't read hieroglyphics.
Hopefully they got the parasite out before it laid her egg and damaged the hoopoe eggs.
Necessity.....the mother of all invention. Keep on back yard engineering Rawr.
Dankie Rory, toe laai jy die video sommer op youtube ek wag vir hom op whatsapp. Vindingrykheid vat mens ver in Suid Afrika, goeie werk.
Damn, Rory! That back pack luggage system is amazing!
Thanks. It worked very well for my wife and I when we went on a 3 week trip all around the Cape provinces dirt passes and back roads. Both of us fitted perfectly with all the luggage.
Unfortunately Sarge is no longer with us. Had an onboard fire and a lot of damage. Built another Mil-spec though called Major.
@@yrornoswal I remember you told me about that trip. Francois here :)
I can assist with a few farts after I ate bean soup👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤣🤣

I like it even before I liked it.
Thanks for the vid!
Superglue does in fact cure in the presence of water eg. moisture in the air.
That is what I was trying to say. It is the absence of air that cures it. Hence it cures faster in water as there is no air there. I think we are both saying the same thing.
@@yrornoswal No, sorry, it's not the lack of air (that would be anaerobic curing - which superglue is not) but rather water which cures it. Thats why when you stick it into water it accelerates the cure. But don't believe me - google isocyanate glues and how they cure. An informative and practical video BTW.
@@johnfrizza681, yup you right thanks.
Was not up for a fight. I put out videos to help others.
Good video, very straightforward.
I build and do the conversion myself.
Thanks for sharing, fantastic machine!!
FANTASTIC!!!! Where did you get your roller bearing cam?!?!?
The 200 is such a great trail bike. Looks great!
Thanks for the compliment. Yup they are timeless. I must say I have a bigger demand for the 1981/2 XR500Rs though.
I can see why you wear those shoes.....well done
Supper cool
Very good meathod. Thankyou for sharing this
Absolutely stunning job Rory.!
Thank you Rory, it is valuable info.
You are correct. Since liquid won't compress, you are only compressing the volume of air space left above the oil. You have a much lower total volume of air under pressure that way. (Smaller bomb). Think about it this way, would you rather have a tiny little road bicycle tire pop at 100psi while you stand beside it filling it up, or a semi-truck tire going off next to you at 100psi....? One will scare you, the other could potentially kill you. Since the oil is below the air on a KLR650 when the seal pops out of the top of the fork leg, the air escapes first, a stream of oil is never going to come shooting out the top of the fork leg under pressure. Carry on.
Thanks so much Pete. Confirmed my train of thought on this idea. By the way like your handle (WheeliePete). Mine should be WheelieRory. Can't ride with both wheels on the ground. I made a set of stickers for my forks yesterday that say "This way Up" with an arrow pointing up. Cheers
Beautiful Rory, a real step into yesteryear :-) I must admit that on a lazy Saturday in SA I'm not convinced the latest and greatest bike brings the biggest smile factor, these machines can truly still be appreciated. Please keep resurrecting these classics to be enjoyed the way they were designed for. May you be blessed with continued ability.
Wow Jaques, thanks for those nice words. It's all about the passion.
Great stuff Rory!!! Its high time that a South African bike specialist give expert opinion on the Klaar's! ;-)
Oh man what a amazing to kids you have m8 , these are special moments you keep for life , i laughed my ass off when you sprayed her with mud
well, at least the front wheel got some ground time....lol.....
The Sarge still showing the younglings how its done...
The riders having all the fun were, Rory, Vince, Jason, Steve and Thys. Lots more fun and games to come.
Great!
Hi Rory, Dina Diamant here. Enjoyed seeing you on your wheels! Miss you!
What can I say Ruth? I have influenced my girls to. They both race off-road. It's in the blood!!! Really good to hear from you. Im going on an 8 day deployment for work but when Im back will get in contact. Send regards that side. Cheers. ;-)
Very cool, Rory. Love your toys, hey? Keep living wild :-)
