Hi, I'm Carl! I'm a professional mixing and recording engineer, former video editor, and overall nerd living in Chicago. I've been playing video games since I've been playing music and I'm bad at both. If you're into either of those things, you're in the right place.

I’ve got a 360 rb keyboard , any idea how to get it working ? Got the controller connected but in game the keys don’t even work
I had a question about pro mode. Can you install custom tracks into rb3 deluxe? Or is there such thing?
Custom tracks as in themes for the note track or custom songs with pro?

Does this work with the ps3 version?
Dayz is a like mod/add on thing for arma or something like that originally then it became its own game, the buildings are the exact same I could barely tell the difference
DayZ originally used the Operation Arrowhead DLC from ARMA 2 as a requirement which added the Chernarus map. There's ports of the map to ARMA 3 and even bigger versions of the map, which is what we're playing.

Nice vid! I'm new to Rpcs3 and RB2 and RB3 deluxe. What microphone are you using and how did you deal with the output lag?
You can use any microphone but I’d suggest a handheld microphone like an SM58 or something similar with an audio interface. I was using an SM BETA 58A which might be a bit pricey. For output lag, my audio buffer duration is turned down to 16ms so it’s not that bad.
Does RB3 deluxe support online play?

Playing on Anthology and everytime I go find Markus, I teleport to behind the stalker camp and have no interaction with Markus? When returning to the marked area, nothing happens. Anthology is great - but every single mod is unplayable due to quests being blocked. Or am I missing something?
Damn wish we could manage to get all the characters insted of one just playing the same instrument lmao

Sorry for the late response. I'm using Rocksmith gems, I think. If it's not those, it's Fortnite gems.

I get why you need the 37 keys, but say I have a controller plugged in too? Can I use a 25 key MIDI keyboard? I only have that one as far as USB goes.

It's Pro Bass, Pro Drums, Bass, and Guitar. Rock Band 3 Deluxe lets you combine standard (five button) instruments with Pro versions into the same session.
I have a pro guitar and a USBtoMidi cable, is there a full guide on how to hook up? Plug in the guitar using MIDI out or MIDI in? I plugged via MIDI In and my guitar's LED is flashing red I changed the settings on Config and the game's Custom Config to 17 frets and it detects the MIDI, but it doesnt detect any input and im stuck at the start screen
okay scratch that it worked, my usb to midi cable was faulty lol but it worked! Just a note im using an x360 pro guitar plugged in using MIDI In Hope this helps for everyone!
@in16293 do the menu buttons/dpad buttons work or is it bound to the frets? Also does the tilt function still work if it's plugged in with midi?
