We are in the UK and bought one as my wife can't walk long distances these days We wanted a scooter that would be easy to take on a plane and transport in general - that was our main priority It is no less stable than similar 3 wheel scooters and has better ground clearance than many It is simple to unfold and fold if you have the mobility to do that manually Have never really tested the full claimed range but no reason to doubt. Obviously if you are heavier you won't get as much range - simple physics! My wife is 112lbs but I am much heavier and it has no problem moving with me on it! It is BRILLIANT to take on a plane but it is better to protect it as much as you can. We take the wheels off (very easy) and put it in a large hard shell suitcase. Lucky for us the one we already owned has enough height for the wheels to go in above the scooter. Then we just pack around it with foam. I would never check it in unprotected as there are too many parts, including cables, that could easily get damaged from the rough handling that lovely baggage handlers dish out ! It might not have variable speeds but it has what you really need and it is really light and versatile when it comes to transporting it

Have the wheels air nomadic or just a nomadic meaning rubber? Also I live in the US and I'm very interested in this unit how can I purchase it and what would be the cost.
