    I got me a 24, silver/black! traded in my Concours 14 for it. The N1Ksx is a better Sport Touring machine. Performance is very similar, the N1k handles way better, better mpg`s, doesnt get crazy hot like the C14 and I REALLY like losing about 180lbs. The power band is different, but I have figured it out. I think the N1K is more stable.

      Thank you. That was literally first 4 minutes of me sitting on that bike. I was getting used to it in that video (was riding ST RS just before sitting on AT). Hm, the bike is huge ... that was my 1st impression. The sitting position is very high. Despite being a big bike it still rides very good in corners. I was positively surprised actually. You sit really upright and the bike has really good wind protection. The bike has decent power and torque, but does not pull like crazy. What I really liked was the automated manual transmission (AMT). While riding with AMT turned on in twisties, you can fully focus on the corner technique without having to worry about downshifts before the corner. That was quite nice and enjoyable.

    Warum muss man so überholen? Die richtige Linie zu fahren solltest du auch noch üben, dein halbes Bike ist ständig im Gegenverkehr.

    • @BadYamahaBoy
      @BadYamahaBoy 2 місяці тому

      Danke für Dein Feedback. Nun, zu sagen, dass halbes Bike ständig im Gegenverkehr ist ... sorry, das ist ein bisschen übertrieben von Dir. Es gibt Gründe, die dafür sprechen, vorausgesetzt, es gibt keinen Gegenverkehr und die Straße ist mindestens 100-150 m vor einem sichtbar: 1) Das Überholen geht schneller, man hat den ersten Schritt beim Überholen schon getan ... nämlich sich entlang der Gegenverkehrlinie aufzustellen 2) Du hast eine bessere Sicht auf das, was auf dich aus dem Gegenverkehr zukommt .. vor allem vor Kurven ... 3) Der Vordermann ist in Deiner Anwesenheit bewusster (die meisten Autofahrer schauen auf den Außenspiegel, nicht auf den Innenspiegel) ... wenn Du mittig in Deinem Spur fährst ... dann viel Glück ... In Kurven ? Wenn man neben äußere Linie fährt, kann man in der Kurve schneller fahren (geringere Zentrifugalkraft), da der Radius größer ist. Natürlich wieder vorausgesetzt ... es gibt keinen Gegenverkehr

    Think you may want to Learn how to ride a bike before doing reviews. Change gear man. Why have it on rev limiter all the time ?

    • @BadYamahaBoy
      @BadYamahaBoy 3 місяці тому

      The bike was never on the rev limiter. Maybe you need to put some glasses on, because I think you have problems with your sight. Have you looked at the TFT display? The engine never actually hit the rev limit for a single time. I think you never rode the CP3 engine yourself. It is not on the rev limiter all the time like you falsely claim, but at the 7000+ rpm range where the max. torque is. Maybe you yourself shall learn more about this bike's engine before posting any comments. Why shall I shift the gears all the time when riding corners? I am not trying to save the fuel, but to hit the max. torque / acceleration. Also if you upshift all the time when riding corners, you literally accelerate less / open throttle less. More throttle in the corners, means suspension is pushed down towards the road, and your tyres get a better grip. Shall I cruise in the 6th gear in the corner and then lose grip and crash? So you see I have explanation for all what I am doing. Would like to see your riding videos, oh wait a minute, there is none to see.

    how do you rate the bike

    • @BadYamahaBoy
      @BadYamahaBoy 3 місяці тому

      The motorcycle is good, good build quality as usually from Kawa, and the bike leans well in corners, and is comfortable for your hand wrist and your back. But for me there was one missing thing with this bike - the engine was very linear with its power delivery. I even tried not to shift gears to get to that max. torque range ... but even then I felt almost no excitment from that engine. I somehow knew in advance how the bike will accelerate, there was a missing excitment factor for me. It is totally opposite on my Tracer 9 which has the CP3 engine. When you full open throttle on that bike, your body is thrown to the back due to high acceleration / torque. I kind of missed that in this bike. But if you are OK with that, and do not like to get that sudden adrenaline rush, then this bike is really a good one for long rides / tours. It definitely has power, I mean it is a 140 hp bike. But I would not buy it for myself.

    • @BadYamahaBoy
      @BadYamahaBoy 2 місяці тому

      @@waltersavigni2831 That is max. Torque, it does not tell you how the engine behaves fully. What you have to compare is the torque characteristics over the whole rpm range. And rest assured Tracer has more usable torque curve than the Kawasaki, as well as better throttle response. That is why when you open the throttle fully on the Tracer it pulls your body back, you feel excited. I did not feel that on the Kawa.
