It looks like Hyatt Regency Osaka is no longer with Hyatt. It's now Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay. www.princehotels.com/osakabay/

It wasn't crowded but there were people. I tried not to capture them for their privacy :)

Thank you for sharing your experience. I still haven't stayed at Park Hyatt Tokyo. I heard it will be closed for renovation next year. I'm hoping to stay there after the renovation.

Fortunately, we didn't pay for this stay but I’m guessing it was around ¥25,000 or ¥30,000. I noticed the hotel prices have been high in general lately. Hope they go down soon. Have a good trip!

I believe there is a convenience store on the basement level. Maybe not a cool cafe but you should be able to find chain coffee shops easily near the hotel.

Thank you for sharing the information! Yes, the location is really great. If you have a large suitcase, a limousine bus is much more convenient than a train. Let me know if you have go-to hotels outside Tokyo!

I'm always happy with Hyatt, but our room was a bit disappointing.

We really enjoyed staying at RYSE! Thank you so much for all the hotel suggestions. I considered Grand Hyatt Seoul but we ended up not staying there. This was our first time visiting Seoul and we liked it very much. I hope we get to go back in the near future! Hope you will have a great visit to Tokyo!

I'm a fan of Hyatt, but our room was old when we stayed at Hyatt Regency in Shinjuku. I'd say Keio Plaza, for sure. However, it's a tough choice if you can stay in the renovated room at the Hyatt. It's pretty much the same location-wise. Yes, it makes more sense to stay in one hotel. I personally like staying in different hotels too. From my experience, I'd say Keio Plaza. Again this is a very tough choice.

@@tabi_ku_hotel Well, I don't recall the area because we never explored the surrounding area; we just took a group tour to see Tokyo city by bus, which picked us at the hotel. At the other day, we took a taxi to go to Ginza to meet my relative who happened to visit Tokyo for a few months. Then on the last day, we took a taxi to the railway station to board the Shinkansen to Osaka. I just know a little bit more about Shinjuku when I visited Tokyo again in October 2017. I went to the rooftop at the government building in front of the Keio Plaza Hotel. And took some pictures of the hotel. Brought back old memories. I wished I could stay at that hotel, but it was too expensive for me. Perhaps in the future, I could stay there. Is it possible to book the same hotel room I stayed in back then in 1975? Do they still have the record?

@@tabi_ku_hotel It was clean and nice. Not very quaiet (someones alarm beeping 2 hours :D). But sauna was good, and Staff was also very nice.

This one was a good location as well. But the Crowne Plaza is a better hotel. I don't think you're missing much.

@@tabi_ku_hotel We used IHG points stayed in the Crowne Plaza Kyoto for 4 free nights then moved to Roku LXR. The CPK was rather old but location is better and FREE so fine with us for this trip.
